Time Gear Tutorial
This tutorial is actually for both RPG Maker 2000 and 2003. Before you use this tutorial, make sure you have a working Clock common event. If you don't, go to rmt.divinelegy.com to find a good tutorial or two there.
First off, make an item called Time Gear (or whatever you want to call it). Make it a Switch type. Then, put a check mark on Field ONLY! Make a switch called Time Gear.
On to the next part. Go to common events, then make a new one called Time Gear Function (trigger should be Parallel Process, and the switch activation should link to the Time Gear switch you made). If you want, you can set the message style to "invisible". After all that, put up a message saying something like this:
You have been playing for:
\v[hours]:\v[minutes]:\v[seconds]
If you set the message style to "invisible", then after the message, set it back to normal. Put a command that calls this event, and you're done! Any questions, send an e-mail to mirageman725@live.com
