make a hotel and/or appartment 
hotel tutorial
1.open rpg maker
2.make a lobby map
3.make the check out man say somehting like, "hello," or what ever you want.
4.add choices:-get a room
-go to room
-leave
5.make a new map. This will be the hallway where the rooms are. (make it horizontal so that you can see the rooms)
6.In the lobby, click on the check in man and after the get a room choice, add another text like: this will be 300G.
7.then add choices:-pay the man
-leave
8.add a contiental branch after 'pay the man', go to the last tab, and click on gold. Now enter the amount the room will be worth.
9.then after that add a text saying,"congratulations, you now have acess to room 4 or what ever you want. Now push ok in that event and click on database. go to items and make a new item. click on icon and choose the one that looks like a card. make this item called, 'hotel card' or 'apartment card'.
10.now go back to the check in man and add a new event camand under, congrats, you got acess to room 4 now, or what ever you choose. make this a text saying you got a room/appartment card. Than add a text under thar saying you may enter your room now.
11. in else say that 'you don't have enough gold'
12. now back in the hall way where the rooms are, make sure there is a way to get from the lobby to the rooms. Now in all the door ways ecsept the one that you want to be able to acess, say 'you dont have acess to this room'. in the room you do want to be able to acess if you have your card, add an event in front of the door.
13. now add a contiental branch and in the last tab in items, add the room card. now you have to have the room card to enter. Now in else, add'you don't have acess to this room'.
14. make a new map. this will be the room. you can make it look how ever you want.
15. now back in front of the door that enters the room you want, add transfer player in the contiental branch. Transfer them to the room! now back to the olbby dude, after go to room, add a contiental branch saying you need your room card. and if you do have it, add a text.'you may continue in the halls now'. in else, say' you don't have a room!
16. Well thats it! the cool thing about this is that if you sell your room card, you have to buy a new one! Well, I'm goig to continue on ideas you can use, but if you want to stop now, go on ahead
-ideas for your room
1.by your bed, you should add a sleeping option this option will let you sleep by adding fading and fadding in effects. You can also make it regain a portain of your health.
2. custom atlas: on your table, you should add a map that takes you to your world map so its like you are looking at the map.
3. throw a party!: add a throw party event where you can copy and past you room, but add people and music and beer and fancy decorations!
4. fable style decorations: add a choice to be able to deocrate. I did mine: -casual
-romantic
-party
-and none
ask me if you want to do this and dont know how. I already did that in one of my games and I can show you if you would like.
5. adding little things like, place wedding ring here. This is only for if you want your charicter to be able to get married.
6.being able to sell your room/appartment
7. being able to order room service
8.being able to chance cothes. (Only for custom sprites)
