How to make a mushroom gathering quest.
First make an event and make them say something like: Hi there I need help with something can you help me? Then do show choices. If no just make the civillian say something like oh well maybe someone else can help me. When yes make them say something like: I have ran out of mushrooms and need them to cook tonights dinner. Please gather me some mushrooms from the forest. Then make a switch called mushroom quest and turn it on. Now go to the area you want your mushrooms to be and make however many mushrooms you want. I made 10. The mushroom event should be on player touch and should look like this: You found 1 mushroom! control variables mushrooms gathered +1. Then turn self switch A on. Then make a new page for the mushroom when self switch A is on and leave it blank. Scatter these mushrooms around the area. Go back to the person who gave you the quest and make a new event page with the condition that the switch mushroom quest is on. Then make a conditional branch that if the variable mushrooms gathered is more than or equal to 10. If this is true make your quest giver say thank you and then give you your reward. Then turn the switch mushroom quest off and make a new switch called finished mushroom quest and turn it on. Then make a new page with the condition finished mushroom quest is on. On the other part of the conditional branch where you haven't gathered 10 mushrooms just make them say have you gathered those mushrooms yet?
