Fishing System
First off make 2 new items
1. Fishing Rod
2. Fish
Make a map with water.
Now make a event on the shore of the water.

-- Conditional Branch, Fishing Rod in Inventory
-- You casts you rod.
-- Wait ( Any Amount ) Frames
-- ... A Fish, Press Down
-- Wait 10 Frames
--- Conditional Branch, Down is pressed
--- You caught a fish!
--- Insert fish in Inventory
--- Else
--- ... It got away.
-- Else
-- You need a fishing rod to fish here.
- No
- Okay.
Additional Methods:
You can add a cage to the items list and make a fishing spot specifically for the cage and you can only cage a specific fish or animal.
If you see my Mining system, you will see the probability line, you can use that here too. If you want to make 50% there is no fish biting and 50% that you catch a fish. You can also make a rare fish and add another probability that you catch a rare fish but you might want to change the ratio like 70:30 or 60:40.
Add stats to the fish like it adds health or something.
