BASICS
If you need a special kind of mini-game too add how about a game with one target out of many people. To begin with make a room, any size you want. Make an event with a character you want to be the target. Make it say when you talk to them, like CORRECT!, YOU FOUND ME!,or WINNER! Then have it add the gold or other prize. Add to the box" Received:[Insert prize here]! You should know how to add gold or items. That would be the basic part.
TIMER
I'm not very good with the timer, so I'll instruct you on how I did it. First put a parallel process event with "set timer" option. Select from what point you want it to count down from. Then insert the wait command for however long it is. Then after that add the stop timer command, and then add a text command to say your losing phrase like FAILURE, or LOSER, or GAME OVER.
ADVANCED
This isn't really much at all. Maybe you can use it for part of a quest, or put a maze in it as a map. Hmm, I'm getting ideas.
Unit for 1/6 of a second: 600 frames.
