Basic enemies on paint 
1- Make a silouhette using black for the outline.
2-now give it color.
Advanced bright technique:
1- Use darkness tones color for shadow effect
ex: white- the most dark color is grey
2- Use bright tones color for lighting effect
ex: red- the most bright color is rose
3-Detail the enemy/character( put him/her horns,wings,a weapon,gloves,etc..)
