[Beginner] Character Selection
INTRO
Hey, whats up and welcome to my first tutorial. Today we're going to make a simple character selection system using events. So lets get started shall we?
STEP 1
What I like to do with a character selection system, is having a guy introduce it or at least show your options. So lets make a little map looking like this:

The character start position in the center with 4 blank events on the two sides.
Now make a second map, just make it a blank green field if you want to.
STEP 2
Okay lets get started. Lets head over to the database. Go to the actors tab and change the max to any number you want it. But if you want to stick with the tutorial, I'll be changing the max to four. Two guys and two girls.

Now head over to the systems tab. Look at the initial party and delete all the actors to look like this.

This shows that you start out with NO actors. Leaving you to choose!
STEP 3
Now we need to start eventing. It's pretty simple so here it is. Oh yeah, we want it to set at AutoRun. It looks really big but it's because I added extra things like Are you sure you want to select this character? and stuff.

On show choices make it that each of them is When Cancel: Disallow. You can add more complex selections like names and classes.
