RPG Maker 2000, also known as RPG Tsukūru 2000
(RPGツクール2000) was released in Japan on April, 2000. It also had a weak distribution among Taiwan and South Korea markets.
RPG Maker 2000 was the most popular RPG maker of its time; being discussed on
many popular websites, and enjoyed a large userbase for many years. Since the program was not accessible by English speaking communities, it was translated into English by a Russian programmer named Don Miguel, who also translated RPG Maker 95 for the same reasons.
