Crystal Crazy - Demo Version 1.1 Review
I'm crazy for crystals!

Okay, where to start on this review. When I first downloaded this game I thought it was going to be a cute little game and I would put it down in a few minutes but man was I wrong! This game delivers one of the most oddest yet addicting styles of gameplay I have ever seen.
You start off as a little fairy and she goes through hard times and well she has to save the world and her people from a crazy man and his monsters. So, you set out on a mission to get the crystals back and this is when it gets interesting. This game reminds me of sonic the hedgehog where you have to collect the rings and some kind of rpg added into one game that actually WORKS!
I have no idea what the designer was thinking when he made this but man is it a lot of fun! I also found no bugs in this demo and that's pretty impressive.
Crystal Crazy Score -
GRAPHICS = 10 Even though Drakiyth used some rtp, he had fantastic maps in every zone and even a world map in a XP game. The battle zones were unique but they felt good and it was overall a perfect job for this type of game. The custom UI was absolutely gorgeous and fit the game very very well. The item and spell icons are also very awesome and the graphics of this game are just great.
SOUNDS = 10 The sounds in this game are fantastic. The fairy screams when she falls and she has the cutest little laugh when she wins a battle zone. Most of the battle zones have background sounds and the spell blast just sounds as wicked as you can get.
MUSIC = 9 I gave music a 9 because mostly RTP was used but it was used properly and the music was in every zone and never lacked anything.
GAME PLAY = 9.5 I absolutely loved the gameplay in this game. It's fluid and the controls are realy easy and good to get used to. The controls did not score a 10 however because of the slight lag in the menu system other than that it was perfect and the UI is great stuff.
STORY = 9 The story in Crystal Crazy is good for a simple game like this and it gets right to the point.
OVERALL - I give Crystal Crazy a 9.5 and I highly recommend you try this great game. I personally cannot wait for the next installment which has even more zones and spells to play with.
