Smash Gency v1.1: ADR Review
A Great Start.

Smash Gency: a fairly unique game to the RPG Maker platform. In fact; not a RPG at all, but a fighting game that imitates the Super Smash Brothers series.
Let me start off by saying that this game is a as a great start, good ideals, great concept. Though it's still in it's early stage, this game need s a ton of work. I had played the other betas that were released earlier separating myself from them in utter disgust, but now having played the the latest release, the game now seems tolerable.
The game has a verity of different modes, with 20 playable characters, and over 10 stages to choose from. Though the system is unique, the battle system is horrendous. There is not many attacks to choose from, there's the undoubtably well-known infinite jump glitch, and overall the battle system just doesn't seem to flow, in addition to the horrible controls. Now I understand that the author is working hard to improve the important aspect of the game, and he he keeps up the good work, this could be be working smoothly in no time.
The in-game graphics are very decent, most of the backgrounds and sprites I suspect are custom made, and not bad either. Though some of the characters could use some work, such as Star Fox.
There are many good points of this game, the intros and title screens are organized very well, and the data system works almost flawlessly. The high pitched sound voice that serves as the announcer I could do without, it can get very annoying. Even though some of the graphics could use some cleaning up, this game looks to have some potential.

Pros:
-Very unique idea.
-The game looks decent.
-The data system is well put together.
-The modes are very well organized
-Plenty of characters and stages to choose from.
-Sound quality is great.
Cons:
-Battle System needs a lot of work.
-Some of the characters need to be fixed.
-The announcer voice can get annoying.
-The controls are horrible.
Final Comments:
The game has a lot of potential, but needs a lot a work. The author needs to turn his focus to more of the games current problems before moving on.
