Tales of A'ailogas: Under Review
Under - Stream-Line's first offering!
Review by kaz
Tales of A'ailogas: Under is the first complete game from Streamline Games, created by a shadowy figure known as "The Man".
It is the story of a group of four students, sent to the Place of Trials in order to achieve their "rites of passage" to knighthood.
They soon discover that they are not the only ones down there, and something very strange is happening to time itself. You actually play with several parties during the game, this not only varies the gameplay but enhances the story.
The game is primarily puzzle based, and some of them are very complex, they may get the brain cells going but without being impossible without complex walkthroughs.
There are battles, and these are fast and furious, the difficulty set about right. There are no areas to level up but I managed to get to the end, as long as I used the skills to their full advantage.
The graphics are standard, but The Man's mapping skills are excellent, his attention to detail makes sure that each area you visit in the game has something of interest.
The story is well told, the dialogue interesting and actual gameplay smooth.
All in all there is very little wrong in this game, if I had to find fault it would be that there were a few spelling errors. However when it comes to playability it is faultless in my opinion!
