A very well done game. But the realistic essence of the game slows everything down.

Cell Chamber is a great game. I can't imagine how much efford that has been put into this project. When I now get to try it out the results are of course good. The custom graphics looks great for the game, and there's lots of effects there to make the game look even better.
The strange thing is, and that's the main reason for the score is that there's too much realism in the game. The character moves in a speed I just can't stand. After a short while you get to run, but the narrow passages makes it almost useless. It's of course a relief you can move faster, but it just helps a little bit. The game is too slowpaced for me as well. It has influences from the old adventure "point n' click" games, but you can move around the character wherever you want to. The text messages looks a little too old-style for me to really appreciate it, but they're OK and fits to the dark (Oh sorry, VERY DARK) theme of the game.
In the end, it's a good game so far. I'll certainly play the full game, whenever that'll come out, with high expectations. Maybe some things has been fixed that wasn't so great, or maybe it stays the same. In any case, this is a great game, slow but nevertheless worth to play and enjoy.
