Fun, But Short Game

When I started downloading this game I had a feeling of what it was going to be like. A simple mystery game about the main character trying to find out what time it is. The game is short, but fun and is unique in how it is layed out. Dragndude most certainly made a good game that was good in what it was suppose to be, a mystery. Now for the breakdown:
Gameplay 9/10: To recieve a high score in this catagory is no easy matter, but this game runs smoothly with few or no errors. I don't see why not to give this game a good score. The only problem is that some barrels that gave money didn't say that it was empty afterwards (like the other barrels).
Story 8.5/10: *Spolier Warning*
The story of "What Time Is It" is simple and original. You are a man named Chester who is off to see what time it is. Along the way you talk with many folks in the town to recieve different items. The story ends simple enough with a man telling Chester what time it is. Now even though this was pretty original and most of the dialogue was a little corny, there was some names that appeared with in this that was a little out of place. For example, Henry the Dwarf, you would have never known his name if you hadn't looked around in the well. Other than corny dialogue and random names appearing it was a good story.
Graphics 7/10: The same score I always give to games that just use the RTP graphics.
Mapping 6/10: The mapping wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either. It was average among most games, but wasn't superior in how it looked. The one thing I liked though was how nature kept the player from wandering away from the town, but still appeared somewhat random. There were slight problems though that made it difficult getting to some characters, especially the dwarf in the well which took like a minute just to get down to the bottom.
Music 9/10: It was good with a mix of custom music and RTP audio. It is put in the game in areas that make sense and makes the game have an extra feeling to it.
Overall 7.9/10: This game has promise in the gaming world. I'm sure that if Dragndude spent a little more time on this game it will be even better. If he left things as is it would still be a great game. The game is charming and fresh, something I wish I could experience from more games. The greatest flaw of this game is its short feel and how you keep wishing to play more.
