Alright, I'm skipping the usual intro and just getting down to the nitty-gritty. This game is the most laughable RPG I've ever played. I REALLY don't know what the creator was trying to get at, but this game is just silly. I could just keep ranting about this, and I will, so I'm just gonna get it over with...
Alright this story is...yeah, pretty lame. This game is basically the result of Kingdom Hearts crapping out silliness after eating the Sonic the Hedgehog series. Even the way the creator described it sounds like a Kingdom Hearts ripoff. You're basically traveling through other worlds such as Kingdom Hearts and God of War (I STILL can't believe that...) doing stuff. The rest of the story to me is so simplistic its confusing. I mean, the game even begins with Amy tranquilizing Sonic to rape him or something, and then she just apologizes like it was no big deal. I don't know if the creator though it would be humorous, but I'd have to be drunk to get a chuckle out of it. Only a pathetically deranged nine year old would think that's funny.
The battle system is just brainlessly easy. Keep on mashing at the "Z" button to mow down everything in your path, from normal monsters to a giant fifty-foot Knuckles. And of course, the battle system is side view, because RPG's are SO much cooler that way.
And before you start asking, yes, there was a Sonic game where he used a sword. It was titled "Sonic and the Black Knight", and from what I can tell from the gameplay vids, it was pretty cool. The gameplay of the original Sonic games integrated with swordplay was a pretty good idea. But this game however shows us that this doesn't work ALL the time, but I guess it depends on the developer...
The maps in this game are extremely mediocre and thoughtless and the graphics are really slow and buggy. There were times where the game would freeze when Sonic moved for a certain length of time.
And last, but not least, the TRAILER. This to me was one of the most facepalm inducing things I've ever seen. The entirety of the trailer was just clips of "Shadow the Hedgehog" and "Sonic and the Black Knight" with that epic muic I heard in almost EVERY trailer I've seen. Aside from this, there are other problems with it, as I've listed as follows:
1) The trailer came with the game...that idiotic mistake speaks for itself. I could understand it being posted here, but why is it in the game? Trailers promote games, so why would this be here?
2)The events in the trailer have NOTHING to do with the game. Its just a bunch of characters flying around and doing stuff. Again, speaks for itself.
Alright, I'm sick of talking about this crapfest. Rating time.
-Glitchy graphics and bad mapping
-Dry humor (The Amy captures Sonic event)
-Battle system a three year old could master
-Dull and unoriginal story

Honestly, if there was a .5, I would have picked it. This game should be arrested for indecent exposure and
first degree murder of a popular game. I know the creator has to be a hardcore fan of the series, but if he truly was, he would have tried to make this game the best damn game ever instead of try to feed us this sad excuse for an RPG.
NOTE TO THE CREATOR: Don't do this...EVER...
