Ara Fell 2k3: The Legend of Dirisetsu Hollow Review
A classic RPG well worth playing.

Homebrew RPGs don't come much better then this if you enjoy picking up an adventure game and playing to it's
conclusion. Based on a character named Lita Lecotta, you are led into the world of Auradorne where you befriend
various people to help her on to the next stage. The characters are well developed, and I particularly liked the relationship between her and Adrian, especially their
humour together. This game will have you addicted for hours, and the quests are well balanced in terms of gameplay...can be challenging, but not too difficult.
So what's so good about it ?. Well, a great storyline with a good lashing of great graphics, plus plots that will keep the brain busy for a while. Once the initial
introduction starts, you realise how much attention has been put into making this. The maps are astounding, cheerful and lots of detail to props, even down to those small knives and forks. The lighting effects add the atmosphere too, as well as a good choice of music tracks to compliment. The menu system is non fussy, and the battle screen is simple but efficient. Levelling up is just right too, no battling for hours to learn new skills and experience points. A nice feature is finding stones to upgrade your weapons at the blacksmiths shop
and using bombs to open up new routes in game. The game has great replayability value too, Iv'e played it three times and I still keep finding new maps I never saw before. Some people may find the town maps a little too
cluttered and tight to move around in, but I actually found it to be okay...some could be put off by that.
Pro's. Great use of graphics in all departments.
Excellent use of background music and sound.
Challenging puzzles and side quests.
Good lifespan...many hours of gameplay !
No nonsense menu's and lively battle system.
Cons. 2k3 The game is starting to show it's age now.
Maps can be frustrating to get around.
Can't think of any more !
Conclusion.
A lively adventure game that doesn't require you to sift through lots of menu's to get to the action. Simple to follow with plenty of twists and turns. Well worth playing through.
