October 16, 2007 - As promised, Enterbrain has updated their official site today. They added the feature and download section of their site, but mostly containing information released to the public already.

|
The feature section contains information about the properties of a game created with RPG Maker VX:
"A game created with RPG Maker VX is run smoothly at 60 frames per second (FPS) while running on a 544 × 416 pixel resolution and 32-bit color.
It is also possible to allow your characters to travel in a vehicle, a function that is returned from RPG Maker 2000/2003. In addition, the games are equipped with a 'dash' function in which a player can press the Shift key to make the characters walk faster.
The combat system has changed to a standard first-person view battle.
Moreover, the messages are rendered more artfully and it is possible to adopt a "UmePlus Gothic" font."
You can read more about it at our RPG Maker VX feature section which will be updated accordingly.

This screen shows off more of the new graphics that will be included in RPG Maker VX.
|
| We also mentioned previously that a download section was added. Don't get too excited though; it's not of much importance anyway. Enterbrain released a 'Fan Site Kit' that contains various images and screenshots of RPG Maker VX that you can 'freely' use on your RPG Maker VX websites. We may make use of them ourselves too!
That's all for today regarding RPG Maker VX. You may ask why we haven't posted any information that has been posted on the Tsukuru Blog recently, but that's because it doesn't contain any significant information. We did add some new images though, so check the section out frequently.
