"Past, Present,
and Future..."

I will start this blog off saying not much is really
new in the realm of Kailis development. Our reasons why are pretty
legitimate. Clest has been busy with school and working on the Sanru
Desert tileset. Makio-Kuta and Racheal are both in Japan on vacation
enjoying themselves. The battle system is finished, but still needs
editing and I am waiting on that. Some of our spriters actually
haven't been around for a while due to summer vacations. And me you
ask? Well that one is easy...
For the past 3 weeks I had been attempting to join the Navy. I had
been doing Physical Training for a few weeks while taking care of
paper work on joining. As of last Tuesday I was officially sworn
into the Armed Forced under the Navy. I am scheduled to go to Basic
Training on September 23 and after that, I'm off to school for the
Military on the other side of the country. I won't disclose where
because I don't want to risk breaking any measures. I honestly can't
say much more then that, though I will say it had been a long hard
week last week, I'm glad it's over and I'm anxious to get into my
new job to better my self as an individual and serve my country
proudly.
I have to continue training before I hit BT in September which is a
while away as it is, but still the more I can train the more
prepared I will be. Does all this mean I am going to stop working on
Kailis? Absolutely not. As soon as my crew gets back and gets some
stuff into me I am going to strive to push a demo out, at least a
tech demo if anything before my 9 week Basic Training.
And what of after you get out of Basic Training? Well Kailis is and
has been my life goal to complete, this series means a lot to me, so
more than likely I am going to keep going even in the Navy, I will
have limited free time, but any chance I have to work with it I am
going to take it, while not abandoning the job I will have at hand.
If anything, the Navy will allow more progression with Kailis and
quite possibly open up wide options for me and my team, I plan to go
to school while I'm in the service, however if I choose not to, I
will definitely go when and if I decide to go out.
I don't have much else to say, but we will as I said before be in an
online web magazine soon, they pushed us to the 2nd issue and we
have our material ready for them. I plan to put up our new poster
sometime soon, so check out the media section for that.
