This is not really a game, but more like a short movie (hence so-called a 'Rm2kfic'). You do not play the game, but instead you watch various cutscenes, following the story.
The game is based on the Chrono Trigger fanfic by Brickroad. The story is about a young girl in Truce some 15 years before the beginning of Chrono Trigger, and her terrible secret. I was pretty proud to have one of the few Chrono Trigger fics that wasn't completely invalidated when Chrono Cross was released. There are a few big Chrono Trigger spoilers.
