STORY::
The world of Augustus's mages all have something in common:: the sickness. In order to have magical power, black magic and white magic, you must have the sickness. The sickness can be as seriously from near death, to minor, as just fainted often. When The Shadows Come is about a party that unravels the mysteries of this sickness as they defend the land of Augustus from the demons of Oblivion, that are trying to rip the land inside out and make everyone of the land slaves to Lady Oblivia.

HEROES::

 Mitchel Tribolta (Try-bolt-a) - Mitchel is the protagonist of chapter 1:: Kidnapping Dilemma. Hes a strong, hearty man, and just seeks revenge against Inferno for ruining his life.
 Roger Anaicia (a-nye-zia) - And 15 year old child with Amnesia. the amnesia could have been a result of his sickness, but the mayor of The City of Lost Souls thinks that Roger's amnesia comes from some dark past, that even Roger doesn't know about. Even though hes still very young, he has a fully grown personality, and is a responsible young adult. He becomes very close to Mitchel through out the storyline. A guess you could say that they become "the bestest of friends".
 Lift (Lye-ft) Granigina (gran-I-na) - A mysterious man. Nobodys sure of his true intentions, whether they be good or evil. More discussion about him would blow off the storyline.
 Kain (Kine) Rezularo (Reh-sa-lair-o) - Rival of Mitchel. The minute the two meet, they duel. He is a half-demon, and works with Inferno.
 Sith Arula (a-rula) - A traveling bard. Not only is he good with a harp, He is also trained in using claws. I guess you could say hes also a monk.
 Burrock (Bur-Oh-ck) Kaizer (Kye-zer) - A former pirate. He was betrayed by his crew, and thrown overboard, and finds it a good opportunity to get gold for a new boat if he steals it from Mitchel and company. He befriends them, and attempts this. But, he becomes quite fond of Lia, and promises to stay with her as her Guardian.
 Lia (Leah) Waiben (Why-ben) - A Knight from the Kingdom of Argaia (Are-Gaia). Once she finds of the kindom's evil plans, she leaves the kindom and joins Mitchel and Company, although she is engaged to King Bliffot. The king then outlaws Mitchel and Company, because of his belief of them kidnapping her.
 Synth Rahcia (Rahh-shah) - A warlord, he owns a small piece of land where he treats the Serfs and Peasants of his land with much kindness. When he meets Mitchel, he does not like him for being on his land, and near kills him. But he decides to free the serfs and peasants of the land (or let them live there, they just didnt belong to him anymore), and joins the party. He looks much similar to a demon, but is no more than a warlord. Everyone is much suspicious of him for a while, but they then give up when they realize that hes just a red-eyed human.
 Cynthia Grobearic (Gra-bear-ick) - Cynthia is a strong axe-wielding barbarian. She is named BEAR in her barbarian village, Stratoph(straw-toph). She is the chief's bodyguard. When the party helps defend the village from invaders, Chief Tiger orders her to go help them in their quest. The party gives her a choice, and she chooses to go with them.
 Rocko Garlinc (Gar-link) - A bezerker from the Kingdom of Chapongi(Chah-pon-gi). he lived in Retthorn Village as a child as well, and him and Mitchel were good friends, though Rocko is five years older then Mitchel. Rocko left Retthorn the day he climbed onto a prison boat that had the captured murderer of Mitchel's parents aboard, to get revenge. You see, Rocko considered Mitchel's parents his, for Rocko was a orphan. Mitchel was worried sick about him, until the day that word got out that the murderer was mysteriously killed in his jailcell overnight. Mitchel quickly knew that this was Rocko's doing, and worried no more.
 Arlia Wilson - Arlia is rather important in all the chapters (besides chapter 1), but is the protagonist of Chapter 2:: The Chosen One. She and a few of her friends live in the port town of Arawai (Are-Away). They runaway from home hoping for a new life when the town is attacked by bandits and burnt down.
 Klint Wiffendill (Wife-in-dill) - Arlia's best friend. Like Arlia, Klint also grew up in Arawai. When the town was attacked, he escorted her safely into the woods outside of town. He then left her to save others of the town, and returned a few hours later with one other friend, Juliet.
 Juliet Gargleton (Garg-lay-on) - Juliet was considered the Town Doll. She helped everyone the best she could, everyone loved her, and she had magical powers. Nobody outlaws her because of her sickness, as in most cities and villages. The citizens of Arawai think of it as a blessing, though Juliet was not a rightful Citizen. She lives with the mayor, ever since the day she washed up on the beach. She refuses to speak with anybody about her past.
 Kriffel Sonara (Sun-ar-ah) - A magician from the city of Arawai. He left on a package delivery 3 years before the raid on Arawai, and never returned. Everyone assumed him dead, though he was far from it. He got lost in the land of Oblivion. Kriffel was like a big brother to Arlia before he left.
 Krai(Cry) Abarai (Ah-Bar-I) - Krai, too, was lost in Oblivion at the same time as Kriffel. The two discovered the first Gate of Hell together, as allies. They traveled the land of Oblivion, lost in a desert until they found another Gate of Hell what was three years later in the land of Augustus. He too, has the sickness, though uses his magic through attacks with his magical spear(Abarai). He named it after himself.
 Gabriel Jawtice - A Knight of the Kingdom of Argaia, the same as Lia. Gabriel was the head of the Lathronian (La-throne-ian) Knights that were sworn to protect Lia. After Lia's disappearance, Gabriel asked King Bliffot for permission to search for her. King Bliffot agreed, and sent him off. Gabriel's main purpose at first was to bring Lia home, safe and sound. Once he heard of Bliffot's intentions, Gabriel joined the party and kept his loyalty towards Lia.
 Elwinn Marsagarah (Mar-sah-arah) - Elwinn is the protagonist of Chapter 3:: The Shadow Crystal's Creation, and the Prince of the Marsagarah kingom. Elwinn was manipulated by King Bliffot, and convinced that creating a stone of true power called the Shadow Crystal using the money of the kingdom behind his Mother's back was the right thing to do. Elwinn created the stone, and Bliffot attacked the prince. Bliffot stole the crystal, and made an alliance with Lady Oblivia. Elwinn swore vengence against Bliffot for fooling him. The Prince then ran away and quested to become strong enough to defeat Bliffot in a battle to the death.
 Tallon Driffelton(dry-full-tin) - The general of the Marsagarah army. Tallon is a loyal man, who is a little full of himself, but would lose his life for Elwinn in a heartbeat. Tallon believes it is his duty to escort the Prince home to the Kingdom of Marsagarah after the epic battle. Tallon is sworn loyalty to Lord Elwinn, and follows him everywhere he goes. Tallon promises that the day Elwinn gets his revenge, if the battle becomes to rough, Tallon would jump in a finish the fight, though he may be a little full of himself there.
 Gra'nn (Grah-nn) Blitia (Bly-t-ah) - Gra'nn lives in his little shed at the top of the Grama Mountains. Gra'nn becomes Elwinn's personal trainer, since he also trained General Tallon. Gra'nn then becomes Elwinn's Guardian and joins Elwinn's party.
 Gabriella Jonais (Joe-nay-is) - A travelling mercenary. She came to the land of Augustus from a foreign land, looking for money. She at first offers to join Elwinn's party in exchange for 100 million gold. But during the quest, Elwinn and Gabriella fall in love, and she decides to stay with him eternally. Tallon agrees to become her Guardian as well, but his main priority is returning home with the Prince.
 Grey Masaih (Mahh-sai-ah) - A ex-soldier from the Kingdom of Marsagarah. He was put into death row when he attacked the King. He never explains why he attacked the king, but he is considered a psychopath. Tallon has much hate for him, and attempts to kill the Ex Blue Soldier (Which is the highest rank in the Army, but underneath General.) But the General's attacks are much too slow, and Grey easily dodges them. He easily wounds Tallon. Elwinn keeps Grey in the party because he knows that deep inside, Grey did not want to attack the King or Tallon. Grey and Elwinn grew up together, and were close friends before he was outlawed and not seen by the Prince for years on end.
 Breidon Rentia (Ren-sha) - Breidon is the founder and mayor of Rentia City, which you should find familiar at this point in the game. He's been out of town for quite a while, trying to make a peace treaty with a rival city. Breidon pays Elwinn and the party to escort him safely back to Rentia. Breidon decides to stay with Elwinn and be his royal advisor, and sends a letter home telling his 15 year old son to take the place as Mayor. His son agrees, and Breidon joins the party for good.
 Latina - A goddess sent to protect Arlia, but stays with Arlia's and company only for a short while before she is killed with a darkness spell. She returns to the Heavens, and chooses not to return.

 Lady Oblivia - The main antagonist of When The Shadows Come. She leads the 20 demons, and seeks to take control over Oblivion and Augustus for eternities on end.
 Bliffot Argaia III - The king of the Kingdom of Argaia. Bliffot Argaia III is the game other main antagonist. He has had much hatred for the world ever since his father fell ill and died. When Bliffot Argaia II ruled, all the kingdoms had a peace treaty and planned on keeping the treaty til' the end of time. When Bliffot Argaia III took over though, the peace treaty was broken and he attacked all of the other kingdoms. Bliffot then manipulated Elwinn into creating the Shadow Crystal and wed Lady Oblivia. Together, they were sure to rule the lands for many, many thousands of years. Or so they tought.
 Inferno - Inferno was Lady Oblivia's right hand man until the Lady fell ill. She then sapped most of his power from him, but left a little that she believed "Would be enough to defeat the meddling party of heroes." Even though the Lady did this, Inferno stayed by her side through the worst of it anyway.
19 other minion of Lady Oblivia - There are 19 other minions of Lady Oblivia who i have yet to name. I will update them here when i come up with the time.

To much righting...and no screenshots or proof that the game is even being worked on. I believe the writer has given up on this game. He hasn't updated any details. |
