Hey everyone, today I'm releasing ver2.0 of the full game. Many glitches and a few spelling errors were fixed. I hope you enjoy the game :)
~Storyline~
A long time ago magic was used around the world. Humans were able to live a simple life with magic aiding them. About five hundred years ago a powerful wizard emerged from the darkness with hopes of destroying all civilians leaving only his army to roam the planet. Years pasted as many were dying, hope seemed lost until three powerful wizards joined forces and battled the dark wizard and mighty warriors whom followed. In the end, they had to seal up five of the worlds darkest warriors before they were to powerful to defeat. Magic soon was seen as a evil tool that could destroy the planet. A new form of magic was created to lower the risk of powerful magic ending up in the wrong hands. Alchemy was taught to the following generations and normal magic was soon forgotten.
~Alchemy System~
I have put together a good size system that can be found in your menu. Once opening it you will
notice that there are a few categories Elemental Attacks, Healing Alchemy, Stat Alchemy, Weapon Smithing,Armor Smithing, Ring Smithing, Forbidden Alchemy and Smithing Ingredient Mixer. These are used to make spells,
weapons and other ingredients. The list of stuff to make by preforming alchemy is fairly big and will take a lot of time to craft everything.
~Fishing system~
You will come across a lot of places that have water and a bridge to fish on. You will told
you can't fish there till you buy a Fishing rod, once having the Fishing rod you can catch
fish. You have a random chance of nothing biting, catching a bluegill, trout, bass or cat fish. In order to catch a fish you mush time it perfect, when a fish bites it was show a exclamation. You must be ready to press the action button to catch the fish or it will get away.
~Gambling System~
This system is a simple card game that can be played when talking to
a guy in the bar that has cards on the table. The card game is called Three Card Ace
and is very simple, you pick one of three cards and if it's an ace then you win money.
Losing will cost you money so be sure to be feeling lucky. This system also levels
up by giving a rank name to you and will increase the money won when gambling.
~Super Secret areas~
I grew up playing games where you had to check
every wall and corner for secret areas and I
loved it. So you better bet there are in this game. Since this is a demo it only has four and they have rare weapons in them. Are you good enough to find the Corpse Shooter, Battle Axe, Buster and Silver Rod.

~In the making of the revived game~
Well when I first started making Vibrant Story, I was thinking of a simple story with great game-play. After months of not working on it and thinking back to Age of magic2, story and game-play are what make it a great game to many players on the site. Well here I am three games later and a lot better at making games with a lot more stuff that I have created to make my games unique. I didn't want to just scrap the game so I used the maps and changed them as needed as well as characters and items. Now I feel that I have started to create a deeper better story-line that might live up to being as good as the game-play that it offers. Your two main characters even have there own reasons for going on there quest and I think it feels like a real anime story which excites me to see my story telling skills improving. I have a lot of hope for the game and I hope you love playing it as much I as I did making it.
Please vote what you think :)

I have the same problem as amerkevicius~
After the second dragon boss is defeated the screen goes blank. You can still play, and go to the menu screen and stuff, but if you want to know where you character is at, you have to save and then go back and see where the character is at on the last saved file. |

There's no way to finish the game passed Bright's Wilderness. You finish the dragon and the screen goes dark for a brief cutscene, but the screen never comes back. |

My next future demo release funny enough adds in the magi bible which is the spell book from Age of Magic and a new skill tree system that lets you choose a little more over what you learn. So you will have two different leveling systems for Magic and normal skills.
Don't remember not being able to run in dungeons since I can in my current demo and the one I'm working on now so that's been fixed. I have been going through and trying to current spelling and grammar, a few of the bugs you found were fixed in the current release and more are being found and fixed. I hope you play the game when it's finished, It should be a lot better. |

What starts off as an interesting game quickly gets bogged down with issues that caused your first game to do so poorly, namely a ton of misspellings and gameplay issues.
I went into this with an open-mind and enjoyed the first segment of the demo. A few misspellings here and there, nothing drastic. But somewhere around the time that I got to my first real town (with the mine and the eeries swamp), things went into left field. Misspellings became so prominent, but other things also got in the way, such as flipping words around as in "We leave should this cave." The one big advice I can give is this: proofread. Proofread it several times, get others to proofread it, too, because poor spelling is the number one reason a person will not finish a game.
Next, your gameplay suffers some serious blows compared to previous games. Gone is the magic book I thought was unique, and in its place is the alchemy system. This can be a useful tool, and is rather ingenious (probably the best feature I've seen in all 3 of the games. However, restorative items and spells seem to be lacking. All the levels of healing magic all say 10%, so I'm a bit confused as to why I would pay more for a higher level heal magic when it will do the same trick as a lower level. The girl in the party, Josia, seems to be self-controled by the computer, which more or less makes her useless since all she ever does is use magic. However, she has a healing spell that would do great in and out of battle, except I can't use it since I can't control her, and she never uses it herself.
I also find it a bit tedious that you can't run in dungeons, but you can in the outdoors. Since most of the game is in a house or one form of dungeon over another, this causes the game to drag on more so than is needed.
Finally, there were a lot of bugs I discovered in this game. Perhaps some were fixed in the new demo. The first is the human skull you are asked to get in the mines by a person you meet in the first town you visit. Turns out, once you talk to this person, you can find him again in the weapon shot and give him the skull, even though I never went into the mines and got the skull. There is an armor called Training Under-Armor (or something like that) that increases my defense for both characters. But when I go to purchase it, it asks which character to equipped it to. The armor is never on that person's body, their defense hasn't changed, yet I'm out of 75 gold as if I bought the darn thing. Finally, several times in the first town the main character speaks with a guy named Felix, except there is no Felix that I know of, not yet, but Felix pops up every now and then and I have no clue who he is, as he's not a part of my party.
And one of my bigger pet peeves is the lack of gold dropped by the enemies. The most I could get from a lot of the advanced enemies before I stopped playing (which was the tower on the west side of the river) was 6. But what irks me more is that some of the boss fights only drop 3 gold pieces.
So between gameplay, writing, and glitches, this game truly needs a lot of work before being completed.
That's not to say it's all bad, the alchemy system was great (but better restorative items and spells are needed), and I especially liked the double slash option for Zach's character. Your mapping and choice of music selection, again, shine high with your talents, and the minimal additions like the fishing option makes your game stand out.
But again, I repeat myself, proofread. Not just your mechanics, and your spelling, and overall grammar. I mean proofread the whole game, test play it, make sure it works correctly, make sure everything is all fixed, and probably ask for some beta testers to test the game themselves. |

You have done a great job on this game so far and I'd like to say the highlight of this game are your characters. You have picked two characters and gave them both personalities that I think will make this game good. |

Opinions are good KuroRenji Slash, I've had a lot problems with the menu myself. I like how the faces are and small parts about it, but I have given it thought that maybe I should change it back. There are some small bugs with it, so if I can't fix them by release time I'll be forced to scrap the menu an see what my other options are. Thanx for the opinion |
