Long ago, the world of Naladia was of three races, the Dragon-kin, the Mystics and the Humans. The Humans took up the majority of the world, ruling five of the Seven Kingdoms. The Mystic's were very intelligent and great mages and architects, making many of the buildings and structures for the other races, but they kept the best designs for themselves. The Dragon-kin, if you haven't already guessed by their name share a special bond with the dragons of Naladia, the Dragon-kin's population is very small and they fear that because of wars between the Seven Kingdoms they will soon die out, manny Dragon's have been imprisoned and forced to work as so called "War Machines" in the wars. The wars are a terrible and what used to be a large number of dragons, has dwindled to that of just five, each being cept prisoner by a certain Kingdom. The Dragon-kin wish to free these dragons before they pass on to the next life. So they sent one of their own, Virgil, to rescue the dragons. Virgil is, even though she doesn't know it, bonded to the last 5 dragons, if they die then she will also. So the Elders of the Dragon-kin tell her she must rescue them all.
Team: Darkhalo=Mapping,cbs,menu,storyline, RO re edits. Luneth=Storyline,spritework.
Jasmine the Sword Weilding Mystic Light Mage
Light Mages have the magics of Light, Earth, Water and Air
Aradin the Staff or Rod weilding Dragon-kin Dark Mage
Dark Mages have magics of Fire, Ice, Darkness and Thunder
Karlie the something Weilding Human Cleric
Clerics have Light and Earth magics as well as all of the healing magics.
Virgil the Lance weilding Dragon-kin Lancer
Virgil has Fire and Darkness magics.
Sly the Bow or Dagger weilding Human Thief
Sly has Thunder, Water and Ice magics.
Marcus the Blade Weilding Human Fighter
Marcus has Fire, Ice, Water, Wind and Earth magics.

For those who can't get the game to work with the "current" download, I took a look at the game configuration file.
Library=RGSS100J.dll
change this to
Library=RGSS102E.dll
I can only assume the J is for a Japanese version of the library. Why this is made like this to begin with I have no idea, this person speaks English.... |

At the start the mother character says "alot" I'm pretty sure is suppose to be a lot, its two words I think. |

I am stuck in Plumsberg Castle. I am in the north sector, I already went up the stairs with the flashing light thingy and defeated that cleric/mage person and gotten the small rusty key for that locked door, but I don't know where to get the second key. I've been to the kitchen and tried several times to defeat that princess and her cronies, but I keep getting beaten badly. My party is Virgil, Jasmine, Aradin, and Ruth. Thinking back, I wish I had Karlie now so I could use her special healing magic, but I guess I'm stuck with what I have now since I don't have a save right before I choose parties, right? So, how do I get the second key? Do I have to beat the princess, and do you have any tips that might help me do that? |

I played your game and got stuck when I beat first boss and gained the 3rd character. To be honest I think the gameplay in your game is good. What does bore me though is the way the storyline is set. There aint any scenes apart from the opening...just a bundle of text you can't be bothered to read. I love the tileset of the city you made. Although some of your mapping was a bit ugly, like the cave which looked like more effort could have been put into. I also dont get why you all of a suddenly have to follow these two dragon kin people. There aint any cutscenes to make the player feel involved in the story. Just pile of text saying yes...your a dragonkin dude. and you must go on a quest to save some dragon or what you call it. Can't quite memba how it went but there was no music that got me feeling as I was a character participating in the story. Overall I think some of your mapping was fantastic like the town tileset and some of the inner homes. I loved the sideview battlesystem and the monsters there to. I didnt like the cave or the mapping of the burnt out house...and why is the house still burning when it blew up already. Why did the dad dissapear when he died??
And also...where do I have to go now. I hope I didn't miss anything during the dialogue because I did get bored and skip a lot of it. I'll give your game 6/10 for it's gameplay side and good battlesystem... |

Try changing the RGSS to RGSS 1.02E for Vista
in the game folder. |

I know RMXP originally had issues with Vista, is there a way I can get this game to work on VISTA? It's not playing nicely. RGSS Player crashes. |

A pity I can't just edit posts in here. Anyways,firemat it seems a wrong upload on the main site. Go to the projects section in forum see threads game link. Works okay in there. I'll inform staff about it.

Ok. Both games use the same fonts called Fontlero. Once you have opened the font in the game folder, simply copy it and paste it in Windows C: font folder. Don't leave it
just in the game folder itself, as it won't work. Paste it into your C: drive to make the in game text show. |

I've tried playing this game but can't even see the dialog that the NPC characters are speaking. I've downloaded and placed the Font file that was required in the same folder as the main game itself but still no luck. I need help bad.... |
