Lost Legacy: An Animania Story

Lost Legacy originally started out as a video game based on Animania, a anime-based Live-Action roleplaying game performed at Project A-kon in Dallas. However, over time, Lost Legacy has become its own stand alone game that serves to introduce people to the Animania story. Since its original intention was to serve as the starting point for Animania's story, it serves its role well even today.
Lost Legacy is the story of two siblings in the Dark Ages, Anime, and his older sister, Tsunami, who are abandoned at a very young age, adopted by a martial arts master named Shen Long, and subsequently thrust into an epic adventure when Shen Long is murdered by a Charlemagne-style despot named Raoul. The adventure takes the siblings from Gaul to Rome, to far off as Africa and Brittany, in search of Shen Long's people. Along the way, the siblings make friends and enemies, and forge their place in history.
The world of Lost Legacy is based upon the Europe of the Dark Ages (circa 750 AD), but is heavily altered by the various anime and video games it borrows from thematically. For example, Final Fantasy-esque technology exists in the world of Lost Legacy, and magic is similar to what one would see in 'The Slayers' anime. Given that Animania is based on anime as a whole, Lost Legacy simply follows suit, giving proper credit where credit is due.
This game does contain mature themes, such as language, torture, and sexuality. Nothing explicit occurs during the game, but it is not intended for minors.
This is a complete game, but is meant to be the first in a trilogy of games telling the full Lost Legacy story. Development of the second game is currently on hold, but will be picked up again in time. Currently, Lost Legacy has a nice sized fan-following at Amaranth Games, has an unofficial walkthrough completed for it, and an official walkthrough in the works.

I hope that RRR will accept this game. It is my first full game, took seven years to develop while working and going to school, and is the decisive starting point for my now budding Game Design career. It is an honor to submit this game to RRR, and I hope that it meets with your approval.

^^ i love this game i've only just started playing it but i'm already deep into the story, that's the sign of a great RPG, but one thing which i think could of been worked on is the voices during battle 1/2 the time i couldn't hear them T_T but i will make a proper comment once i'm about 1/2 way through but so far 4/5 ^^ |
