After 12 years of peace and restoration in the Twin Empires, Krisdea and Veramonde war once again troubles the land. A massive onslaught of fierce kobold warriors has emerged from the Murphey Forest and advanced without mercy. Lord Ridman summons the help of the Peregrin Knights, a unit of elite mercenaries lead by Captain Paran from Higanasu in the northern region. Kima and Eijin Roshgarde, brothers and members of the Peregrin Knights, are forced to act against Paran's orders when the lives of their companions are risked and as such are expelled from the unit.
However, the fall of the Twin Empires is only the beginning of the most epic war since the Century of Strife and Kima finds himself tangled in a web of unity, betrayal and above all, family affairs.
Why are the kobolds attacking? What will become of Ridman? Can Higanasu finally achieve true unity? How is the god Dansa connected to this situation?
