Crystal Birth is a Action-RPG, filled with Storyline, and Adventure. You play as a boy named Stride...
The Story takes place in a small region of a fantasy world called Ehazel, Ehazel was created and named after the Goddess Ehazel, which created human beings as well as Crystals which when discovered by humans, were used to create vast civilizations, these Crystals were sought by men as they contained the ability to use Magic of the gods.
Crystal Birth is a story of a boy, named Stride, or whatever you choose to name him at the start of the game, who finds himself unconscious outside a small Town, Arnin. Stride also finds he cannot recall what he was doing which led him to find himself outside the small Town, faraway from his home, the main Capital of Ehazel.
Crystal Birth is sorted into Chapters, which you will play the daily life of Stride, and his adventures in Arnin. During which, he gains the trust of the towns folk by doing tiny to large scale quests for them. Venturing only up to the Town and the Dungeons around.
Each Townfolk has a realistic and fun personality and interacting with them is one of the game's fun points. Each of them with a small storyline you will get to uncover while playing the game.
But the game isn't always peaceful. You will battle monsters in and out of dungeons, while doing quests and protecting Arnin. The game uses Crissaegrim's ABS System, and many other battle add-ons to make the fighting, repetitive and to keep it fun. There will be atleast one Boss in each Dungeon, each of them with unique abilities and fighting styles.
Crystal Birth uses the RMVX Standard RTP as well as custom RTP-style Sprites. The game has custom GFX from its GUI, to the HUD, to the Titles of each Map you will see on each visit to the map.
The Friendship System, will allow you to gain friendship with the town folks, which alters the story slightly, and unlock secret mini-quests.
Crystal Birth: The Story of Arnin, is the first of a possible series. Only this game is planned so far. In possible sequels, you will most likely not play as the same character, but more likely as another character in another region of the vast world of Ehazel.
Crystal Birth is developed by a single person right now. Rory/Magdreamer, a staff at RPG Revolution and a Pro-GFX Artist. However, the team is open for recruitment of Storyline Developers and RGSS2 Coders.
The first release, will contain approximately Three to Four chapters at least and will only be in English. When the game is released, we plan to release it in a variety of other Languages.
Crystal Birth: The Story of Arnin will contain approximately about Fifteen Chapters, or more. Only a couple have been planned so far. But most of the Chapters will be uncovering the Story of Stride and the Towns folk. Another Major character which is planned to have Two to Three Chapters to unveal his Storyline is the Rich-Spoilt owner of the town's Bar, Robin, who has a lot more to him than meets-the-eye.
