A Hero's Path (Second Opinion)

Long ago, 8 spiritual beings formed a race, the Spirituans. These Spirituans protected the world and avoided that it would be destroyed by The Dark Legion, an ancient evil army. The Spirituans knew that they couldn’t protect the humans forever, even if they prepared them on a possible attack, The Dark Legion counts thousands and thousands of undead and other evil races.
As solution the Spirituans made a harnas so strong, The Dark Legion never could defeat the one who was wearing it. But hope for a hero who wears the harnas for protection and peace, became the quest of thousand years. Even holy popes and noble druids couldn’t succeed in its perpose.
The Spirituans who knew their end was close, decided to split the harnas in five pieces : a sword, a shield, a breastplate, a helm and a ring. They named it The Hero Artifarcts. But in secret they made a sixth Hero Artifarct and hided it deep between light and dark, good and evil, black and white. They hided it between dimensions, because the Spirituans knew it was a mistake to make it, but it couldn’t be destroyed without causing a second Big Bang.
At the end of their lives, with just twenty years to live, the spiritual beings became one of us. They became weak and vulnerable humans. Now they name themselves The Hero’s Guidance.
Nobody knows of their existence, everyone thinks they are destroyed by The Dark Legion. But they will return once a True Hero has arrived. And they will help him or her in the quest for The Hero Artifarcts.
Now we live in peace and hope that The Dark Legion never finds its way to our world and if they do, a True Hero will find his path to The Hero Artifarcts.

Phooey! I was really starting to get into this, but now it looks as if it will never be completed. In any case, not much for story, and the writing needs work, the music is RTP, but it was still fun to play. Oh well, just another demo for VX that may never see a finale. |

I started out with the theif, and I died a bunch. Then I switched to the warrior and he just killed everything, no problem dieing with him. I did think that it took too much grinding to lvl up. |
