WHERE THE FREAK IS THIS GAME. I've tried to find it everywhere but all the download links are totally broken. Anyone have a spare copy of it lying around? It's a pretty old game, so I don't really expect anyone too, but if you did... man. That's be superb.

If nobody else has a copy, I most likely can access a copy, but it will have to wait a little bit. I got other stuffs to do today first.

It's sad that people who make amazing games, end up going off the scene Imagine what he could've done with VX Ace. Did he go on to create games with other engines, or is he gone for the game development scene completely?

torrents aren't illegal lol, they are actually quite nice for bigger files. It's just that people like to use it for illegal stuffs. This, however, should be fine, as long as we are just using it for a game that may or may not be lost forever. That, or go through a bunch legal stuff with the EFF and have them scan the file from Megaupload, and they might be allowed to get it. (If it is even still there.)

I watched the movie just after posting this topic haha. It's actually not half bad for indie. As far as I know this was the only game he made. Kinda sad. I played it a while ago but only for a little bit, got pretty scared xD that was just a while before MU went down.

As for the torrent, yeah it's not illegal. Tons of companies put their games in torrents as to get it downloaded faster. I'll check it out, and if I do manage to download it somehow, I'll find a place to re-upload the game so people don't have to wait for a 4GB torrent with no seeders.

You can pick files what you want to download of that torrent. So you can just take that game directly if it ever gets seeded by at least one person. Which is very unlikely.

The torrent said there was only one file in it, so I'm assuming it's an installer that lets you choose from there.

Considering the filename says ISO, it's probably an .iso file. So, it's more or less a virtual disc.


Simple enough to install if you know how.

Seems to have covered all of the RoN game packs, and it seems that MGP # 3 in these has your game.

A good portion have been removed for copyright violations, but you should be able to find each part (pt 3 and pt 5 are available through a couple of the deposit files links)

I have not checked these, or scanned these, but it seems to be the last option, and could very well be the last chance this game has without finding somebody with a copy.

There may or may not be some false positives (Detected viruses that are not actually viruses), but tread carefully.

(IMO, my gut says there may be some false positives, and no viruses, but don't go out on a limb just because of me)

I've tried downloading the torrent with absolutely no luck. No seeders usually means no downloading.
So I'll try your links tomorrow RD, that's an awesome find right there.

EDIT: with iso files I usually just burn them onto disks with ImgBurn, a lot easier than using a mounted digital drive.

So I'm currently downloading the Part 3 of the mega pack or whatever... however, all of the download links have been taken down but parts 3 and 5 of the RAR. So hopefully I can extract it from just those two. Hopefully.

So it turns out I couldn't find out how to extract the file out of it, as only 2 files worked on the whole site, and each image consists of 5 parts. So I needed 5 parts and the vast majority of them didn't work; I was only able to get part 3 and 5.

Well, at this point, I say shoot theman a message, or e-mail.

Well his email on his account is private, and I can't seem to find it elsewhere. He hasn't been active on this website for ages...

Since all compressed files were not available to form a complete archive. Even repair functionality didn't help to get all the files we would need to bring that game back.
