Hello all! So, I've been creating some songs for others to use, as well as music for my own project. I'd just like to share some of the pieces I've made. Hope you enjoy! biggrin.gif

Boss Battle Theme

Resonant Hopes, Ignited Wills
This is my final duty

Victory Fanfare
Moving Forward *A rockin' fanfare which is probably not suitable as a fanfare to begin with lololol

Event Themes (Kudos to Dark Kyu for classifying these lol)
Through her glasses - a theme originally for a visual novel.
Justice Through Trial

Town Themes
Desert Waltz - Kind of a desert town theme

And finally, something from my youtube account (Thanks to Jens for helping me with the code biggrin.gif)
Dark Kyu
Well, this is quite interesting.

- Resonant Hopes, Ignited Wills: Well-done boss theme, a classic to be precise. It has that emotional feel of suspense but telling the player not to give up in the verse, which is my favorite part.
- This is my final duty: good too though it sounds more of a final boss theme in my opinion.

- Moving Forward: it's good and it does have that feel where it encourages you to move after defeating the enemies, just as the title implies.

As for Other Themes, I think they can be classified as 'event' theme, perhaps? Other than that, they both sound good.

- Kirito's Theme "Dual Waltz": I don't know much about Kirito or the series he's from, so I can't say much about it, but other than that, it sounds neat.

You're actually a good composer, I'll give you that smile.gif

I LOVE Justice through Trial smile.gif There's a lot of emotion behind it and has a really interesting twist on some instruments. Kudos to you my friend!

Through her glasses does sound really neat as well. There's a lot going on, but it does blend together nicely; It kind of makes me happy when I hear it. It sounds like something I would hear in a visual novel... well... I guess that makes sense considering that's what was intended? happy.gif

Resonant Hopes, Ignited Wills... Please, can I marry that song? Okay , I'm kidding, but I honestly have found my new favorite song to listen to. it's absolutely epic, inspiring and truly the best piece! I loved the use of the bass instruments as well as the strings. The piano made it just straight up one of the most amazing pieces I've heard. The blend of instruments are unique, uplifting and just beautiful as a whole. The end was climactic and just right!

"This is my final duty" sounds like music for a dramatic cut scene... Perhaps even like a goodbye? I'm sorry, I picture things in my head too often XD Also a beautiful piece!

I also have fallen in love with the victory fanfare. It seems as if it could have many uses, but:

I disagree. It's perfectly suitable! smile.gif I think it's perfect! It could be used for other things as well~

Anyway, thank you for posting! Chances are, you're going to have me on the computer listening to these over and over again for the next five hours of my life XD

You're a great composer smile.gif You should be proud~
Subaru-kun
I really appreciate the comments. it's nice to know that people are able to find these songs nice lol

"This is my final Duty" was actually composed as a final battle theme for a game I was composing for not too long ago, so it's something of a farewell as well XD

Thank you! I'm glad to have gained a fan lol

Good job, truly wink.gif

I've listened to both the battle musics Resonant Hopes, Ignited Wills and This is my final duty and I must say they have the right rhythm to do what they are supposed to. Just one note: This is my final duty is someway epic, but in the beginning it didn't seem a boss battle theme... then when drums enter and melody begins going in controtempo with the rhythmic section... well, this is something I'll remember wink.gif

Anyway, to make your youtube tags work, try this:

<youtube>[video identifier]</youtube>

replacing the <> with the [] and where the [video identifier] is the video tag on youtube:
example:
with this URL
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X9AmN6HnKSo
the video identifier is:
X9AmN6HnKSo

so the code should be:

CODE
[youtube]X9AmN6HnKSo[/youtube]

without any spaces between the youtube tags and the identifier.

Hope to listen something more from you wink.gif

Ah, I see you've uploaded a new song, Desert Waltz.

I have to say, this does feel like in the desert with a sense of emptiness but yet calm. If it comes to desert theme, an Arabian-style theme always pop out in my mind. However, this theme changes it, I guess it doesn't always have to be Arabian-style. I like it smile.gif

Good job! smile.gif

By the way, can I use your Resonant Hopes, Ignited Wills for my game project as a special/powerful boss theme?
Subaru-kun
Thanks for the tip on the youtube code. I believe it's working fine now lol.

I'm honored lol. I'm glad it could instill something like that. This was actually designed for another game (Which I have no idea if it's even going to be completed anymore). I was tasked with putting up a softer opening to the song to match an automated dialogue (Where you can't press ENTER and have to wait for it to finish). Once the battle started, that's when the instruments were supposed to suddenly go loud.

As long as it's credited, You have my full and honored (honored? lol) permission. I made this song to share, after all XD
Oh, but I really would like to see how that battle plays out though :3

I've actually submitted these tracks to the music event over at rpgmaker.net, this was pretty much my way of giving back to the community for all the resources in tiles, sprites etc. As in seriously, I've gotten a TRUCK LOAD of resources from other people lol
catman123
Hey, it's Zeraf from RPG Maker Web. lol don't ask me what I was thinking of to create this username. Catman was made long long ago.

Are these okay for commercial use?
