This all looks amazing! It is actually nice to see a variety of styles, also I love robots, so the mechs were really really cool!

I really like the light to dark one, the fade/blur of the whole pic is really beautiful!

I was actually working on a mecha RPG a while back. I still have lots of concept art on my hard drive, but you can find a few of them on another post on the main visual arts forum.
got lots of the story done, but i couldn't get the actual project started.. idk.
So i am working on another project now but since people seem to really like mecha i might resume it, probably won't have the time though d:

for the guns, well idk. i just look at real guns and MeganeRid's designs because his are beyond amazing xD

Not surprising considering how so many Japanese anime artists seem to be obsessed with spiky-haired pretty boys.

The painting style you seem to be going for looks really good so far. One comment I'd make is to keep in mind of tangencies (where lines appear to cross into or merge with other lines, it's a depth-killer). The line that represents the top collar of his scarf ALMOST looks like it's going towards the line of his chin/left side of his jaw.

You've got some really nice coloring going on there! The colors themselves and the style like the eyes are really appealing and well drawn as well. The hair is a bit large, seems more like a wig because the top (not the spikes in the front, the part that curves from the back and usually follows the head shape) is really high. If you want to keep it like that, go ahead, just wanted to bring it to attention. The only thing I see as off is the neck: the left portion (our left) is pretty small and it looks as if that white piece is covering the neck. (If that's intended, then never mind!)

Rly? : O and oh god, my name... LOL. I forget how to write it all the time. D: the characters for it just kinda look weird/ unattractive though; unatural; like some of it does not "look" chinese i guess u could say LOL.
But yea, ive been trying to get better at reading/writing characters... I mean, i figured since i suck at speaking/ understanding chinese, maybe i could just be a random mute/ deaf chinese person LOL. (: D)

@Ratty aaand the Zenonia artists in particular like spiky-haired pretty boys with no stomach clothing hahah. not too into the tube top thing but well, it's their design. Most the of lines are still sketchy, but as i paint over them i'll clean it up a bit, which will probably fix the issue with the scarf (I actually noticed it too, it looked like a butt chin before xD)

@amaro aha thanks, was wondering if the eye on the left side looked a bit off though.. maybe it's just me lol. the scarf was actually supposed to cover that part of the neck but it's a bit hard to tell right now, though since i do sketches underneath the painting it shouldnt be too hard to fix if it still looks off.
and for the hair.. aha well the hair was originally like that, it is a bit extra though.

@Runeknight 'sall good, it takes work to actually just write one letter of my name decently and that's still all i know LOL

Thats why im jelly of my part-japanese friend lol. >.< She is only 1/4 japanese, but she is perfectly fluent and literate in japanese, even with the characters that also exist in chinese.. OTL
She showed me a couple of the japanese songs she listens to, and they all had chinese character titles, but i couldnt read a single word except 'light' LOL.. D: She could understand them perfectly though; It rly motivated me to get better at chinese..

Oh gawd though, arg thanks. XD i dont feel like my colouring is that great though.
We have a good number of years between us, and u will definitely get better.

i used to b like that btw. But hopefully later on (when u grow wrinkles... :]) u will want to learn more about ur culture. (Im disappointed in u son! Jkjk lol.)
