Okay I need someone to tell me how to do a couple of things on the rpgmaker 2000 so that My project I'm starting on will be unique. Let's see there is a lot I want to know so going to start with the most important. Okay I'm planning on making an Item called a Time Sword and when equipped on the field or in battle he will transform into an older version of himself with different skills and different stats. The thing is I have no clue how to do such a thing. P.S The other events I'm thinking of is an morrowind style leveling system, enemies reinforcements that appear after a certain amount of turns, a MP System where weak spells take say 1 turn and stronger spells take more turns. There's more but that's the gist of it! (i hope I've improved in writing posts...)

Unfortunately, I have no real familiarity with RM2k/2k3 or I would help you out with some of this. I would recommend, however, that you provide more details. Someone may be able to help you, but may have never played Morrowind or Skyrim and so could not code that.

If you can type out a more detailed explanation of what you are looking for, I bet someone who is a wiz with 2k events can help you out here.

Sorry about that stupid detail thing... Like I quoted at the bottom I suck at writing still... Oh...stupid screen stop freezin on me like that...
anyway can you tell me how familiar you are with RM2k? You may be able to help me with a few codes I can't fix. ( More details about later)
Well I'm gonna go search for more codes now so chao.

I personally haven't used 2k or 2k3 in many years, long before I was any good at anything, so I doubt I would be much help. I do know we have some experts on 2k/3 here though, and I'm sure they'll respond to you soon enough.

If 2000 is like 2003.. all you have to do is make a common event that checks to see if said person is holding the "Time Sword" if he is, then change his sprite to the older version..
Make an Else handler to have him on his young sprite when he isn't holding it.

The Morrowind thing is not hard.. all you have to do is level out the stat increases and have an event that checks to see if you leveled up (can go further and have special events to happen if you hit certain levels). That event will give you points to spend on stats or whatever.. and these stats will also adjust the base system stats, such as a Combat Tactic skill increases Attack and Power slightly. You can even make the event detect certain things to give skills to the person. It's not hard.. just tedious that's all.
as for the delayed Magic system.. that requires In-battle eventing.. it's something that will take time and im not sure how it would work off the top of my head.

Wow...unexpected help! Lucky me my Laptop is working again. Anyway I'm gonna see if I can get this stuff to work. Oh yeah! Since my game has an advanced jumping system I got a few weeks ago do you know how to make basic platforms like spikes and moving platforms?
