Hi,
I've been working with RMXP pretty much since it came out back in '04. I've been involved in a lot of projects, played a lot of games and whatnot. It took me a while to find the perfect idea, the Last Earth Project, for a game, but I've got it! I would say that it is inspired by a myriad of games I've played in the past, but ironically it was the Turrican games (not really RPGs) that really got me into this idea.
I would say I've got an excellent mastery on systems engineering (scripting) to the point where I can code up anything that's 2D. You ask for it, I can do it. The downside is that I have absolutely no artistic talent whatsoever, so the Last Earth Project is using the graphics from the RMXP game Knight Blade, Howling of Kerberos, among others.
That being said, I am in no way a one-man-team, I've got my skillset but lack in other areas. I encourage interested parties in Last Earth Project to contact me about anything, be it comments, questions, ideas, observations or insights.
I am also more than happy and capable of assisting anyone with any scripting or eventing questions. I encourage any who need help in that area to ping me. When I first started with RMXP I very erroneously bypassed the default database and hardcoded it into RGSS because I wanted to have control over the whole process - big mistake - I had bit off way more than I could chew. The custom systems I've developed for Last Earth Project, the battle interface, menu GUI and several others are all tailored to and reflect changes made in the RMXP database well.
Anywho, hit me up if any of this jumps out at you, I'm very interested in collaborating with everyone!
