Full Version: Getting enemies to drop more than 2 items

I am creating chests which contain super powerful bosses that the player can fight all throughout the game. Most of them will require significant leveling, and a later return in order to conquer them.

The reward is going to be a substantial XP boost, as well as a plethora of gold. In addition, I want them to drop items...but the system will only allow one enemy to drop two items, one of each. I want to be able to put more items in there as a reward...gear that can't be acquired until later on, elixirs, etc...

I see that I can set an event to the troops page for that boss, but I don't know how to set it up where it rewards the items only after the boss is killed. I will also want something to notify the player of their haul, even if it's with just a text box.

(I did try searching for this subject)

This is rather simple, don't put the items dropped via the enemy, just have it give them the item AFTER the battle resolves in the event, this will allow you give them as many items as you'd like with no hassle.
