Cant you access this website through those type of things anyway?

We can, but it's rather slow and hard to navigate, plus the topic links are so small it's hard to hit them correctly. I dunno how an app would work, but if it would make this more convenient, I'd be all for it.

It'd be a nice idea, however, this site is owned through iEntry, and they're the ones that would have to be onboard with this for it to happen. Right now, I don't believe they are interested in making any changes.

Would actually depend. if it was a paid app, perhaps I-Entry would be interested. Issue is would people pay for the app?

They seem to have these apps for lots of sites nowdays, and I just dont think they are needed which mean not very cost effective either. Like they have the bank of america app, but I just use the normal browser and it works fine for me everytime. I just think its a lot of hipe.

I guess it is generally done because of the resolution and the screen size differences. PC users appreciate when site is not designed to be more handheld friendly instead of just doing application for that.
However this forum is already designed to be more device friendly.

That's a greta point though. I never have problems using RRR in the standard browser on my android. Guess I just thought it would be neat to see an app version too.

Tapatalk would be an option but I believe it would require updating IPB.

That's true, but iEntry has already told us they are not going to be updating IPB any time in the foreseeable future.

Man. Man. I would be all over that, that's a shame it's forseeable. God. Darnit. It's not too bad navigating with my Blackberry, I've done it a bit since getting it but when I had an Android LOL it was a nightmare trying to hit all the tiny little links on the tiny screen (tiny in comparison to a computer screen anyway XD)

Depends on the content of the app. If it's just the site, then someone should work on the mobile version of it.

Yes the newer version does. You can see at the bottom that this version is very old.

RPG RPG Revolution is an
iEntry Network® publication. =]
I'm going to go ahead and close this topic as we already have received sufficient information from iEntry on the fact that they won't be doing the necessary upgrade to get an app working for us.
