Okay, I am really puzzled...
I saw some user have "Rev Points", which are a sort of (future) currency (or at least, this is what I understood).
The basic question is... what kind of action do you have to perform to earn any?

Obviously, partecipate at the Halloween contest gives you some points, but are there any other ways to earn any of them?

Just a question, since I'm really curious about it smile.gif

Rev Points are not currently used for anything in particular, but they might be worth something in the future (currency, or something like voucher points, etc.).
They are basically points for things on RRR, and we call them Revolution Points.
For now, think of them as prestige points, until later on when they are used for other things. =]

You can earn Rev Points by:
- being involved in any RRR-hosted event (competitions, contests, etc.),
- contributing resources to RRR (including exclusive resources; note that scripts are resources),
- submitting useful/complete tutorials in any of the forum tutorial sections,
- and sometimes there are special ways to earn Rev Points that aren't announced (surprises).

So primarily, your contributions to the site and activity in events on the site will almost automatically earn you Rev Points. =]

I've also added this information to the FAQ. ^^

I've submitted at least three scripts (Blood&Pain engine v 0.8, Dynamic Battlebacks, Appear/Fade for characters) but never earned any smile.gif
Okay, I'll wait to see what will happen next:)

Yes, I usually rely on mods/staff of an area to update me on which members deserve Rev Points. So please be sure to mention when you've earned them (and as a mod, when members in your area have earned them).
You can just PM me, but be sure to include the links to the topics/submissions so I can properly add the Rev Points. ^^
