Ok im sorry but who are these people? I have never heard of any of them, is this contest from another site and was just posted here? The work looks good which makes me realize that I have never seen these ppl here before.

They are from all over. Some from here and some from other sites. The contest is related to the game Profit Motive which you can find on the forums here:

And the contest is officially over! This race was extremely close and tough for the judges to come to a conclusion on, but here are the results:
