Erin picked up the grief seed. She looked around, Leon was just a few feet away from her. Although he did not look good at all. She got up, tripping on herself several times. The bright light of the blast had left her sight affected, she could only see things diffuse. Rubbing her eyes, she walked unsteadily to his side. "Leon-kun... Can you hear me?" She asked, her voice shaken from the fear she was feeling. He'd fallen a great length, and Erin's sight was shaking too much for her to see if his soul gem was there or not. All she could do was hope he'd open his eyes, sit up, and make his silly grin at her.

Leon's soul gem floated above him as Erin-Senpai approached him. Darkness swirled around it, and pulsed with the lime green light of the soul gem. As Erin-Senpai leaned down near him, The grief seed in her hands flew towards Leon's soul gem, slamming into it. The explosion of light and dark engulfed the area, destroying several transformers and causing the entire city block to experience a blackout. A swirling mixture of lime green light and darkness engulfed Leon's body, raising it into the air and floating there.

Erin closely followed the scene that unfolded before her eyes to the best of her ability, awaiting to see what would happen.
An egg-shaped lime light -that Erin assumed was Leon's gem- had joined with the grief seed she held, causing a big blackout by destroying transformers. His soul gem was still there, was he alive? His body was floating, filled with lime light and darkness. "Leon-kun, please survive" Erin said, lowering her head as a tear rolled down through her cheek.

The swirling vortex of lime and darkness pulsed faster and faster, after a brief moment it exploded outwards, destroying the small house and several street lights in the process. A bright lime green light burst out of the vortex and when it clear, Leon was standing on the ruins of his porch, grinning down at Erin. "Did you miss me, Senpai?"
He reached his hand down to her, helping her up. "I'm sorry to worry you, thank you for caring about me." He smiled at her, and winked, both of his eyes were back to their normal blue color. He straightened up and looked around, it was a mess. He turned and looked at his house or what was left of it. :M-my house....." He whispered, shock on his face.

Erin stared blankly at Leon, taking a moment to understand what had just happened. Not that she actually understood, she was just processing all of it. "Leon-kun, you're alive!" Erin smiled widely, a few happy tears falling from her eyes. She pulled Leon into a tight hug, refusing to herself to let him go. "I... I was so worried!" Her words came out jumbled and messy. "I was afraid you'd die, that I'd lose someone important to me, again!" She sobbed a few times. "I'm sorry that I couldn't protect you or your house better, I failed as your senpai. Will you please forgive me?" She asked, l loosening the hug and taking a step back.

Leon was shocked at first when Erin grabbed him, but after the shock faded he chuckled a bit at her declaration. He leaned back slightly and tilted her head up towards him. "I never blamed you Senpai, you fought for me harder than I was willing to fight for myself. If anything I should be thanking you." He put his hand on the top of her head and pulled her into a hug again.
"I had given up on myself, I still feel responsible for what happened to Sakura-chan and the others. If I had been more careful, Travis would not have existed and none of this would have happened. You saved me, Senpai. From myself as well as all the monsters." He looked back at his crushed house. "My dad is going to be really angry when I call him. On top of that, I'm left with nothing but my school uniform, I'm not sure what I am going to do for now...."

"Well... It wasn't really your fault, if you hadn't protected me from receiving all that grief I'd be the witch by now... Besides, I couldn't just let you die." Erin broke her transformation and scratched her cheek, staring at what she thought were the ruins of Leon's house. After a moment, she realized what was causing all the blurry vision. It had been the explosion, but not the light. She took off her glasses, the lenses were completely shattered. "Well, I don't know what you think, but Koyuki's home is way too spacey for just her. I don't even know why she got a home that big. You could maybe stay there until you have a place to live?" Erin suggested, shaking off pieces of broken lens from the framing of her glasses that were more or less intact. She looked around. "I have no idea how to get back to Koyuki's place, or my own house. I don't even know which way I'm facing." She sighed, visibly annoyed. She only had one contact and no idea how to move around town without being able to recognize where she was.

"I suppose we can talk to Koyuki-Senpai about that, I just hope it doesn't end up too weird for her." Leon smiled down at Erin, though he doubted she would be able to tell. "Let me help you." He reached out with his right hand and swept her knees out from under her, and caught her back with his left hand. "Hold on to me, Senpai, I'll carry you." He shifted her weight and started walking down the street. He chose not to use magic, something about this made him want to support her with his own strength.
"I'm sorry about your glasses, Senpai. I had no idea you even wore them, it's pretty cute look on you, though." He chuckled a little bit, and then fell into an awkward silence as he continued to carry her. He did not know what to talk about, they had just shared a very personal moment, they were still sharing one. He might be popular, but he had never been this close to anyone....not since Janet died.

Suddenly, Erin's feet left the ground, and she was falling backwards. She was bracing herself for the fall when a hand caught her back. Leon was carrying her down a street, presumably to Koyuki's house. She could see clearly enough to put her arms around his neck to steady herself. She smiled and blushed a bit.
"I don't like my glasses a lot... I look like a dork, so I just use contacts... But I lost one." For some reason, her voice was sort of trembling and her heartbeat was quickening. She had a weird feeling in her stomach too, some sort of anxiety. Why was she so nervous? Everything was okay now.

Leon smiled at Erin's nervousness. "Senpai, you don't look like a dork. The clothes do not make the person, you know?" They were getting closer to Koyuki's house. He was moving a lot faster than he normally would, and he was not getting tired. Perhaps a resurrection from near death does that to a person. He looked down at his ring to see if it had any corruption and realized that he was looking at Erin's leg. Blushing he turned his head away and coughed.
"Say, Senpai. We have one more day of weekend left, do you want to go do something tomorrow? I was thinking maybe we could go to a theme park or something, you've been through a lot and deserve to have fun." He smiled down at her. "Or are Magi not allowed to have a day off?"

"O-oh! Sure... I-I'd love to!" Erin smiled, doing her best not to jumble up her words. "I might, um... need some new contacts first, though..." She smiled, giving off an awkward laugh. "No one's around to check if we t-take up our routine as m-magi, anyway... we are free to do whatever we want!" She blushed slightly more, careful not to mention the word 'Inkyu'. She was beginning to get worried, the thing hadn't been around for a few days, but she didn't care too much. He might as well go off and die, they could take care of themselves better. "Are we close yet? I think I can recognize the buildings around here, slightly..." She let her head fall a bit and looked up towards the skyline, still wondering why she was acting up. Maybe it was all the nerves she'd felt just a little bit earlier? Yes, probably so. Most likely.

"Anyway, I don't think I have any more contacts, but I do have spare lenses for my glasses at home. Erin looked around, trying to get her balance straight. She was a bit dizzy, probably because she could only see blurs and that was giving her a slight headache. Suddenly, her stomach made a loud noise. "Oh... right... I haven't eaten today yet." She said, scratching her head. "Where's Koyu, anyways?" She rung the bell once more, pressing it for almost thirty seconds until...
...Koyuki opened the door, and Erin let go of the button she'd been pressing. "Okay, okay, I'm here. What the hell, Eri." She closely inspected the two kids in front of her. "Huh? Kyrin-kun with normal eyes and Eri-chan with glasses? ...That appear to be without any lenses?" She raised an eyebrow. "What happened?... Don't answer, I can read your minds. Come in, you must both be hungry. I can hear Eri's mind longing for food from here!" She smirked at Erin, letting the kids in.

Leon raised an eyebrow, after dealing with Erin-Senpai for so long, it was going to be a major task to get used to the polar opposite personality of Koyuki-Senpai. He walked in and looked around, the place was a lot cleaner than last time he had been here. "The place looks good, Koyuki-Senpai." He said, giving his natural charming smile, hopefully it would keep her from being angry at not being called for the fight. "Have you been here, alone, since we left school? Nothing like the mess it can get when Eri's around. Once she actually--" She started, but was promptly interrupted by Erin who pressed her cheek, obviously thinking it was her mouth.
"--did nothing. Can you please go make something to eat, Koyu?" Erin finished, taking her hand off Koyuki's mouth. She looked around trying to get to the kitchen, but all she saw were white blurred walls, all looking the same. "Koyu, help me, where am I?!" She spun a few times, stopping dizzy. He smiled. "Now that I'm here, I won't let you be a recluse;" His face took on a serious look. Hmm, so they're planning on going to the theme park? Koyuki smirked to herself.
"Th-the theme park?! I... I can't go there, I am afraid of heights a lot... and speed... and any kind of adrenaline that is not directly related to witch fighting." She said, falsely shaking with fear. She was a great actress and knew so, and besides her illusions would make Leon believe what she wanted.
She'd go to the theme park alright. They'd just not know she was there. It seemed like a good plan.
Erin raised an eyebrow at Koyuki. For some weird reason a deep little part inside her screamed to play along and leave Koyuki off the trip, though she didn't know why. "Yes, last time we went to the theme park it ended badly. Koyu shouldn't come, she'll just be dragging herself through the floor." Erin nodded, trying to seem as convicent as she could. She took a dish out of the counter and placed it on her little table. "Well, here's lunch! Koyuki's special Curry Ramen!" She grinned as she summoned a few dishes and chopsticks to the table and sat down. "Well, anyway, what did you kids do? You seem tired." She said, trying to change the subject.
"Oh, god! Curry ramen, yes!" Erin got up clumsily and walked carefully to the table. "I have no idea how I'm gonna eat, but I sure love your curry ramen!" "Well, I suppose I can enjoy this." He said with a smile. "Itadakimasu; that's what you say, right?" He reached down and took a bite of the ramen, it was nice and spicy, but enjoyable. "Oh! "Yes, itadakimasu!" Erin smiled as she stuffed her mouth with the delicious curry ramen. She loved eating, though she didn't admit it to anyone. "I was so hungry, and this is great, Koyu!" She kept eating and quickly she had finished her plate and a second helping. "So, long story short..." Erin summarized what had happened in the time she'd been gone, telling Koyuki how they had found a wizard and it was actually Leon's, not that she understood how that was possible, how Leon had almost died and his wizard disappeared, carefully ommiting what happened after Leon woke up. "Oh, and his house got completely destroyed, too. It was pretty bad." She finished, licking her lips after yet another serving of noodles.
Koyuki politely nodded every once in a while while listening to Erin, eating her food slowly. "Your house got destroyed? That is pretty bad!" Koyuki said swirling the chopsticks around her plate. "If you want, you can stay here." She offered and smiled. "That is, if it's not weird for you!" She quickly added, nodding.

Leon was eating slowly, he was trying not to show it but he had a lot on his mind. Why did he have a wizard? Was it because he nearly transformed when they rescued Koyuki? Does this mean he is out of danger? Does Koyuki-Senpai still have a witch to worry about? He also wondered how much Koyuki-Senpai remembered of when she was a witch, was she dealing with all that guilt of all the things she had done?
He looked up after Erin-Senpai had finished talking. "Why would it be weird for me? Are you planning on doing strange things to me?" He asked with a grin. "I can't promise that I'll make a good lab rat, ya know." He leaned back, his first bowl only about half finished. "I was wondering...why do people become witches? "Well, apparently our universe is running out of energy supplies." Erin started "So the Incubators' mission is to collect the energy we release when we become witches, to feed other worlds. At least that is what Inkyu told us." She put her plate aside, finally stuffed. She looked around, she'd never noticed how blank and empty Koyuki's house was before. "We should buy some stuff to brighten up your place, this is really empty." She said, thinking of what they could do in the afternoon.

"I don't have anything here, do I? If you wanna play games, though, I can go out and get some, I think I have a TV around here... somewhere?" She was good, but her form was sloppy and he might have to teach her a thing or two about actual martial arts. He laughed suddenly, and then quickly recovered. He would have to teach his senpai who had been fighting for years, how to fight? That was funny.
Leon leaned forward. "I have a better idea. Why don't we go out of town and do some sparring? I know that Koyuki-Senpai is out of practice and we could all learn a bit about how each of us fights, in order to work better as a team."

"Do you want us to transform?" Erin asked while she sighed at Koyuki, scratching her head.

He tossed the wooden spear to Erin and pulled something out of the other bags, it was airsoft guns. "You use guns, right Koyuki-Senpai? This is the safest I could find, but try not to hit people in the eyes, I just got done wearing an eyepatch." He said with a grin.
After tossing the weapons he stood off to the side, away from the food, wouldn't want to damage them. "Erin-Senpai, you come at me first, show me what you can do with that spear. Erin caught the wooden spear and inspected it. It wasn't anything special, just a spear made of wood, its tips weren't sharp either. But, was it really fine to hit Leon with it...? He said he'd be fine. "Uh... o-okay." She gained balance and ran towards Leon, merely holding her spear, not spinning it or swinging it or anything of the sort. For some reason, that felt stupid to do. Like she was bloating, as if she had amazing skills. Erin knew she wasn't that good, she'd learnt to fight all alone. She'd hidden behind her greater physical strength the whole time, she wasn't sure if that was good or not anymore. When she finally got near enough to Leon, she jumped, aiming her spear directly at him, and fell forward like a bullet.
Koyuki grabbed the guns and tried firing a bullet. It was nice, the same as firing real bullets, only that these weren't damaging. "Yep, I use guns. These are nice." "EEP!" Erin screamed when Leon tossed her, touching the ground with her feet again and sliding a bit. Koyuki had turned to the side and dodged her, thankfully. She quickly got hold of her spear again and ran back to the fight.
A bit caught by surprise, Koyuki swiftly dodged a flying Erin when she passed her by and slid her speed off a few metres afterwards. Leon kicked at her face, so she put her arms in front of it in an attempt to protect herself or maybe grab his leg, but then he suddenly changed aim and tripped her. It was all too quick, suddenly she was falling backwards, but she managed to steady herself with her arms, holding a gun with her mouth.
Taking advantage of Koyuki's uncomfortably desperate position, Erin used her spear to push her back softly with the tip of her spear, causing her to fall forward. Erin turned around and hit her hand in an attempt to make the gun she was holding fall.
But Koyuki was faster, stepping to the side and shooting Erin's head and Leon's chest. Most of her bullets were directed at Leon, even though Erin was still trying to hit her with her spear, causing her to walk backwards more and more. A moment of distraction had Erin hit her with a surprising strength in the arm. "Ow, that really hurt, Eri!" She complained, shooting a bullet at the girl's stomach. Erin giggled and apologized.

Leon grinned at the attacks, they were not hard, but he needed these two to take this a bit more seriously, he might be being a bit lax, but this was important to their survival. He needed to see how they fought when they were serious. Sorry about this... He dashed forward, and swung his foot up in an arc, coming down on Erin's spear and burying it a bit in the ground. He then ran up the spear and jumped over Erin's head, kicking her in the back and knocking her to the ground.
He used the momentum of the kick to land next to Koyuki. He struck out with his fists, striking her in the stomach and arms a few times, the attacks were not hard, but they were numbing. After a moment she would not be able to feel her arms for a minute. He then spun and tripped her again. As she lay on the ground he raised his foot above his head and brought it down in an ax kick towards her face, stopping at just the last second. "You are both far too lax, this is training, even if we are going to have fun with it." He set his foot down and helped Koyuki stand up. "I don't want to see either of you die, and I'm sure you feel the same way about each other. So I want you both to come at me with all your strength, all your skill. I want you to try and kill me." He grinned at them, the normal arrogant grin. "Don't worry, you wont' succeed."

Koyuki grinned, taking Leon's hand. Her arms were horribly numb, but she could still move them a bit. Just as Leon had helped her get up, she raised her leg and kicked him on the stomach. She'd just have to fight with her legs until her arms responded quickly enough. She stepped on a gun in a vain attempt to fire it, but even if she did manage, how would she aim? It was too low. Her arms began to respond a bit faster, but lowering to pick up her weapon would be too much time spent vulnerable. She ran over to Erin.
So, let's take him down. Koyuki projected only to Erin.
Erin got up and pulled her spear out of the ground. Yes, let's. She thought to Koyuki, and the two ran over to Leon. Erin used the lone sakura tree as a platform and jumped, preparing her spear for a powerful hit on Leon's head. She could see Koyuki doing her best to use just her legs to fight, but she was a bit out of practice and she didn't stand much of a chance against Leon.

Koyuki hit him in the stomach, it hurt, a bit. She was a bit faster than expected. He jumped backwards as the two of them began to plot out a plan. He intentionally shut off his brain, he was going into combat mode, this was going to be all instinct. He would be using all of his thoughts to track how they fought to figure out a perfect fighting style to train them in. "Come on, I'm ready for you." He said as his eyes took on a far more serious look.

Erin landed a slide and used her spear to sweep off Leon's feet, while Koyuki finally regained full control of her arms. Picking up her gun, she aimed several shots at Leon's arms, legs and chest. Erin used her spear for impulse and jumped over Leon, swinging her spear for a strong hit when she landed, just as Koyuki complained about the guns' lack of ammo. "Damn it, I never have ammo problems with my guns as a magi...!" She tossed the gun aside and picked up another.

Leon watched intently, he noted that they worked well together, Erin used her increased strength to directly attack, it was powerful but the attacks lacked any sort of style. Koyuki on the other hand was a bit flashy and very long ranged, which meant she was weak up close. He grabbed Erin and spun her around, putting her right in the path of the bullets. He then jumped up over Erin and kicked off a tree, diving at Koyuki. He grabbed the ground, flipping himself up and wrapped his legs around her waist. He then spun himself using his hand on the ground to throw her off balance and off the ground. He flipped back up and dropped back into another stance. "Come at me again, I'm learning quite a bit."

Erin didn't even try to dodge the bullets, she was beginning to get tired. They all hit around her torso, not causing much damage, but only tiring her out more. She let herself drop to ground and lay there, just looking at the sky. Her belly grumbled. She got up, slowly and clumsily, brushing off the dirt in her skirt. They had been completely beaten by Leon, they didn't stand a chance. "Ouch. How do you expect us to hit you heads-on when we know all that there is for us is to get hurt?" She rubbed her head, she had a slight headache. "Well, I admit it- you're very good at this, Leon-kun. I give up trying to beat you up." She walked to the tree and let herself slide to the ground, closing her eyes. She was too tired to get back up, too hungry to move her legs.
"I agree with Eri." Koyuki said, getting back up. "I also give up, you're too strong for us." She stretched out her arms and joined up with Erin leaning against the tree. "Can we eat now, Kyrin-kun?" She asked, rubbing her belly. She, too was hungry. "Afterwards you can start to teach us!"

Leon smiled and dropped his stance, his eyes lost the battle focused look. He walked over to the food and pulled out a blanket to lay the food on. "It is fine, I didn't expect you to beat me, but I did get a good look at your fighting styles and figured out some training that would really help you both." He looked up, a serious expression on his face. "I'll do everything I can to keep you two alive, I refuse to lose you."
He pulled out quite a bit of food, rice and fish, noodles and fried chicken. He had a mixture of Japanese and American foods and there was plenty for everyone. This amount could probably have fed both of their entire classes. After laying out the blanket, he walked over and scooped up Erin without waiting for an objection and carried her over to the blanket. "You push yourself too hard sometimes, Senpai." He said gently.

"H-hey!" Erin blushed when Leon carrier her to the blanket. "I'm fine, I haven't pushed myself too hard, just a little tired." She looked at all the food Leon had brought. "You did bring a reasonable amount after all!" She smiled, looking at everything and licking her lips. "Seems great~ I'm getting really hungry, I only had three bowls of curry ramen at Koyu's." She rubbed her hands against each other and sat down properly.
Koyuki smirked when she saw Leon carry Erin towards the blanket, tracing a heap of probably useless plans mentally. She got up and walked to the blanket, sitting down next to Erin. "Oh, my! Do you wanna make us explode from over-eating? Not that Eri couldn't finish this off in ten minutes if we'd let her." She said, examining the food they had in front of them. It was a mix of cultures, a nice touch.

Leon smirked at the responses. "I aim to please, ladies." He said with an overly embelleshed bow. He sat down and started to dig in. He started formulating a plan, but this one was different than the one Koyuki had planned.
