Ok, I'm here with yet another tutorial! I wasn't going to post another one so soon, but this was requested! This one will allow you to cause an enemy to transform by hitting them with a certain 'state' or 'effect'!

The first thing you will need to do, is create a base monster and then a number of transformed states equal to how many times you want it to get stronger. The second form should look different, have increased attack and speed or whatever you choose to improve, but the same amount of hit points. The other 'stronger' versions of the monster should all look like the second form, and just have improved stats, but again the same hit points.

Now you'll make an event page for each form you want it to take. I'll show an example SS of how to set that up.

Screen Shots

The first picture is how the first three or so event pages should look like (Fill in as many as you need to make it 'stronger') The second picture is how the final page should look like, assuming you want it to kill them at the end. (If you don't, simply don't bother putting that last page in there.)

In case you can't see the Screen shots, or read it. I will post how you do it here.

You will make each event page based on a switch, or the number of turns, if you want this to happen with random battles. (If that is the case, have the first page turn on a switch, and then make another page with the normal process.)

Now within all the events you will put a similar process. Next you will put a conditional branch, checking if the monster is affected by the needed state. Within that you will force the monster to tranform into the next form. Also, remove the first switch and turn on the next switch. Then remove the state from the monster (If you want the monster to transform more then once.)

You will repeat this as many times as you need the monster to transform. On the final page you will want to put the same conditional branch, but instead of making another transformation, you will still turn off the switch, but now you will deal damage and show an animation at the same time.

I hope this made sense and covered everything you wanted to know!

I'm glad everyone understood this happy.gif. I was honestly a bit concerned on how to do this, as it wasn't working out how :I thought it would. It's good to know it's still useful to people! Keep in mind this will work for VX/A just as easily!
