Does anyone here watch Let's Plays or make them? XD

Let's Plays are basically playthroughs of a game with commentary attached to them. Hopefully hilarious commentary, but still.

Tons of times! My least favorite time was when I was watching someone LP one of the old Elder Scroll games, and in the middle he webcammed his face playing the game. I was like... Oh dear, I don't want to have to look at you and the game. o.o

Why do you watch LPs?
I'll be honest. I am not a good gamer, nor do I have the money spend on games I want to play/played from my childhood. So instead, I'll watch someone play the game for me, and I can enjoy it that way.

Not only that, if I know I want to play the game, I will watch them play it first and take notes for when I play.

It's how I roll.

I like watching Let's Plays but every one I've watched with commentary has made me go ugh. This example is kind of funny, but the over exaggeration of his voice that is common in such videos gets on my nerves. I follow the Angry Video Game Nerd, who does hilarious reviews of old games and movies.He's outlandish but his jokes are funny.

But OMG Mortal Combat 4 for gameboy looks like crap. Mortal Kombat 3 was one of my fav games when I was younger. I played Tekken for gameboy advance and thought that was lame, but yikes!

Yeah, Kiko's voice is over-exaggerated, but that's just how he sounds. XD

I may be biased, since I'm crazy about him, but I like his voice. :X

Thank you for not going off on a tangent about how they suck, though.

I know not everyone agrees with me, but I've people just swear and go on about how much they hate what I hate and it always brings me down.

These are the first ones I have ever watched- they are a brilliant idea.

I used to be crazy into LPing but I'm not anymore.

I used to watch Chuggaconroy, ProtonJon, and NntendoCaprisun, Azureblade49 but nowadays I just watch ProtonJon from time to time, but I LOVE Game Grumps and Runaway Guys. Collabs seem to work sooo much better.

I used to be uber crazy into them, too.

I guess now I just watch Kikoskia..

I made a Secret of Mana Let's Play once, but I never uploaded it.

I could never make one, because my voice is awful and annoying. XD

Which makes me wonder.

I just have a youtube channel sitting around, with only a video of Ghost Shards and nothing else. I use to comment on videos, but like... I don't really have any ideas of what to upload. I've been thinking about it for awhile. Lols.

Maybe you should find someone else to LP with.

Though in terms of actual good stuff i would have to say Total Biscuit seems to do it best with his WTF series.
If you want to actually know about the game etc. it's probably the best

I'm currently into NicoB's lets plays. His videos tend to be more enthusiastic then other LPs I've seen so far. Nothing bores me the most then an LPer with a boring, monotonous voice.

The only thing I don't like about him is that he doesn't seem to be good at Mario games.

I used to watch Chuggaaconroy and NintendoCapriSun. I don't regularly watch their videos anymore because I just lost interest in watching LPs. Once in a while if I see that they're doing a game that looks interesting or if it's a game that I like or know, I'd watch it.

I liked Chuggaaconroy's LP's cause he's quite the funny guy and I used to find his raging hilarious. I liked NCS because he's a relate-able person and just a down-to-earth guy.

Both of them do a lot of Nintendo LP's too, and Nintendo is my favorite gaming company,

I have just started LP'ing...via Livestream. However I do like PewDePie's youtube channel, his are always funny...Especially when playing horrors

I used to really like NCS but for some reason his burping always disgusted me.

I don't watch anybody nor have I subscribed any LP channel, because I see no reason to watch another person play something. I prefer playing by myself.
