Awesome concept! Just played a little bit. I have some general first impressions:

-Good use of the RTP and solid maps!
-The music is indeed relaxing
-The menu screen in AWESOME.
-The inability to run is a little annoying to me. I get that it's supposed to be an atmospheric experience, but the slow speed of the character hindered my experience.
-In the opening scene, I was able to move the screen back and forth with the arrow keys while the characters are talking. Is that supposed to happen?
-It took me 20 minutes to get to a battle (The Tori). I didn't realize I could save anywhere (I'm a big advocate of save points) and I came scarily close to dying (as in I had 300ish HP and no skill points or healing items when I won), so I almost had to start the whole game over. Fortunately the story is strong, so I didn't lose interest. But keep in mind this is a game, not just a story, so I'd include at least one battle closer to the opening cutscene.

Overall good job so far!

Severity
It certainly will be an amazing game to play for people who had read the story from the arabian night
Will be excited to try this game after the download is done. The download host is kind of slow maybe because I live in Asia...(11 kbps... My usual download speed(MF/RS) is at 2 mbps)
supercow
i move for at least 5-10 seconds in the game and i already realize i probably wont play this for long because of its slow movement sweat.gif
1. first look its amazing
2. the "scene" is too dark it dampen my excitement on watching it
3. after i got the control i was so dissapointed on its slow movement
4. after got out of house/castle i already quit confused.gif
im sorry this probably wont help much laugh.gif

is there like a boots/equipment to run?
Severity
After trying it, The only problem I've had in this game is the slow speed of the character which is a major turn off.

From reading through various comments, my suggestion would be to up the speed a slight notch. Running is not necessary as long as the character moves at a decent pace. Also, it seems people are still torn between "save anywhere" and "save points", so maybe in a "save anywhere" game, you could post "save reminders" (ie., include a save point in spite of save anywhere or a message that pops up telling the player they should save).

I have yet to play this (so busy these days), but the setup does look pretty inspiring and well done. Sort of reminds me of a folktale I read when I was younger (which it might even be based on).

Have you seen these tile sets? They'd fit nicely in your project: http://resources.rpgmakerweb.com/arabian-nights/

Thanks for the comments, everyone! I am so sorry for not replying that long. I used to check the topic and see no replies, so I lost interest after a while. XD

I am glad to receive such good comments on the game, thank you. ^^ So far, the complains are about saving and the slow speed of the character. Let me explain something,

Saving is pretty much allowed anywhere around the game-I thought it would be easy enough. XD However, I am willing to include reminder points if necessary.

The slow speed of the character is attributed to his old age. You are playing as an old vizier, who's right about 50 or 60 years old, correct? I thought the slow movement was only justified in this case.

@rewells: Thank you for the tilests. <3 They are beautiful although not free, so that's not available for me. XD But thank you. And nope, you aren't supposed to move around during cutscenes. That's probably a bug I forget to fix. My apologies. ^^;
