Cinder is a story-driven ORPG, heavily dependent on the global decisions of player actions. Help the development of this small hobby-fueled game with criticism, compliments, typo correction and even questions to get my mind thinking about parts of the development I may have neglected! Refer to the last spoiler 'Staff' for recruitment details. This game has been thought through and through, with concept art fueling pixels, and story fueling ideas. The world map has been roughly drawn, exotic races trying to be understood, and intertwining being intertwined. I'm simply exploring into the physical realm now, creating a playable version of the vision that is CINDER.
And now, time for an expedition into the vast array of spoilers..

Backstory
Goddess Enera’s light scorched all of Oblesica, the lands inhabited by Humans, Kindlers, Garroks, Inaidens and other exotic races. The races lived amongst an uneasy truce, but they coped with the integration, each species having a special quality to contribute to Oblesica’s constant advancement. Amongst their day to day lives, Enera saw none shared the same compassion she had for life, and wanting to impart said compassions onto them, she formed the perfect race to demonstrate such desire for life’s fullest.
Body created by pure flame, the ‘Cinders’ were seemingly flawless. They helped the other races connect, and friendships blossomed throughout Oblesica like an over-fertile plague of daisies. However, Enera noticed imperfections in her new children, and the overwhelming lust for death that had been seeded in them. The desire to fuel their fires with the cries of human spirits had taken control over them.
Enera, knowing this outbreak and war was her own doing, shamefully turned her back on Oblesica through the unending guilt that knocked her down. The world was left in eternal night, and for a hundred days, lakes of blood were cast upon the human-built continent Amalaine. The Cinders were too strong to hold off, even with the Humans, Garrocks and Inaidens as a combined force, but once they found that the Kindlers had joined the Cinder’s efforts, they knew they were doomed.
The innocent tears ate away at Enera, and she decided to do what she had to, or else the Cinders would tear apart Oblesica completely. In a dark sacrifice, Enera’s light was stripped from her body, and she was killed along with the darkness she had unleashed upon the world. The war fell apart quickly once the Kindlers found themselves out-matched, and the remaining three races formed the Iris Nation, to honor Enera’s sacrifice in their darkest days.
Since then, a small relocation group of Iris Nation settlers and officials have moved into a lowly populated island, Abidayl. The Iris Crown of Abidayl belongs to King Ivan and Queen Fade, and their devotion to life inspires all of the newly hatched continent, nearly matching Enera’s compassion she once had for it. A large expedition executed by the Iris Crown has found the resting place of Enera and the Cinders within the new continent, and the Cinder’s ashes were the last item in a recipe to triumph where Enera had gone wrong. Success has been proclaimed, and the ‘Cinthetics’ have risen to combat the Iris Nation’s old, but hastily growing enemy, The Kindlers.

Races
Races aren't available to players, but still fill the world.
Cinthetics:
Synthetics are a wide-spread experiment. Cinthetics are the first successful synthetic humanoid created, and they’re built from an ancient race called ‘Cinders’. This gifts Cinthetics with the ability of magic, and among other things. They’re sent to Abidayl as a reinforcement army to assist the warring nation against the Kindlings. Cinthetics are simply humans who volunteered to have a change of life, they can be just as diverse, skin color, eye color, hair color, personality traits. There’s also no daftness, Cinthetics are straight to the point, they learn from practice.
Humans:
Humans are simple, greedy creatures. Lacking order, they are wide-spanned and live off food and water. They have no magical talent at all, but possess the ability of free will, and can learn their trade, or multiple trades. This trait was limited for Cinthetics. Humans co-exist with other races awkwardly, their racial trait of over excessive paranoia stopping them from completely trusting another race. King George looks after the humans, even the ones living in non-Iris Nation controlled territories.
Kindlers:
The main antagonist race of Cinder. Their body is ablaze, and they’re strong against any fleshy humanoid. Kindlers proclaim to be descendant of the Cinders, saying they’re created for the same purpose and will live it out, despite the fact their ancestors precede the Cinder’s creation. They scold Cinthetics for using ‘borrowed life’, and defiling the ashes of their predecessors. Kindlers, despite their ever-burning, have a special enchanted material that keeps their body covered. However their skin is tough, so they lack the need to use heavy armor. Kindlers resemble Gypsies, their garments and accessories based on their desires, not protective needs. The Kindler matriarch, Kalliso, is a harsh and violent Kindler leader, often found at the front of any battle or raid. She isn’t afraid to get her hands dirty.
Garroks:
The muscularly built Garroks are a quiet race dedicated to servitude of masters. They willingly sell themselves as slaves, to laborers or adventuring folk, or even as soldiers. Their over-developed builds make them strong as fighters and physical laborers. They’re quite commonly frowned upon by other races as they seem to be too humble for their appearance and raw strength, but have a background shrouded in mystery. Their race hasn’t much say in the Iris Nation, but because it’s their choice. The unofficial leader of the Garroks is Immeal, a rarity of his kind, a prideful and boasting Garrok who thrives to see his race built into a new race, who see themselves as immaculate warriors, not slaves.
Inaidens:
Inaidens are a race highly attuned to magic. They’re beautifully built, quite similar to humans but many obvious differences. Inaidens are from 'beyond the portal', or The Other Side, a magical dimension that only Inaiden's can access, which holds their world the Glade. The mother of Inaidens, a caring, but stationary Inaiden that wishes to have an alliance between the Human world and her own, sent Queen Fade along to accompany the Humans into a new and prosperous age. Inaiden's are a race entirely female, and they don't age, but are simple created in their 'adult' form. Inaiden’s voices are highly regarded in the Iris Nation, and Queen Fade looks after her people with great care.

Cinders:
Cinders are a race of ancient times, their story carried down through the generations with possible edits. The Cinders were created by a Goddess Enera, the goddess of light. Enera loved her children, the Cinders, but saw the monstrosities she had created. With the ultimate sacrifice, she killed herself, leaving the world to peace. The Cinder’s ashes were used to make Cinthetics after being found within Enera’s resting place.
Oblesica holds more exotic races, but none as population-demanding as these races (minus Cinders, and Cinthetics).

World Map
The map is an 'upload then caption', so it isn't perfect. Abidayl is the only one colored as it is going to be the first island travelled, and the rest of the world will be locked, for awhile. It will be explored as time goes on, and will be referenced to a lot.

Small background on each island:
Abidayl
Abidayl is the most recent island to be welcomed into the Ivy Nation Islands. After the sacrifice of Enera, loyal followers set up her resting place to inhabit the island. In another graveyard near it, lay the ashes of the horrific creatures still planted in the minds of the aged, the Cinders. Abidayl houses the strongest magical zones, and continues to surprise the King and Queen with it's wonders.
Fortitude Isles
Fortitude Isles is the freelands for Garroks, where they are allowed to live without Humans or Inaidens. However, Humans and Inaidens are welcome to stay, but are not allowed to set up a life for themselves. However much it is advertised that Humans and Inaidens are welcome, Immeal, the unofficial leader of Fortitude, has created taken a spiteful stance against other races, and encourages many to follow his ways. Currently not an issue to the Ivy Crown, but many are becoming cautious of the Garrok race, and their potential.
Olegeta
The most glorious of all places in Ivy Nation Islands, possibly even Oblesica. The streets are painted with beauty, and the people are dressed extravagantly. Many born here stay, as it is a comfortable and friendly island, with as much opportunity and trade as any other place. So exploring, you won't come across many people from Olegeta, unless you're in Olegeta.
Triplets
A strong community of farming islands, each has a strong bond with each other. They depend on a system of trade, and if one of the island falters, they all falter. Each basically resembles the other, apart from their different crops, meat, or liquids.
Redrock
Redrock is the most magical place in Ivy Nation Islands, as it houses the portal to the Glade, and is home to the Inaiden folk. Redrock, before the Ignition, was a bland place, home to the old King. Now, Redrock is a natural home to Inaidens, and Queen Fade's favorite vacation spot.
Blaze
Newly gifted it's new name, Blaze is the most dangerous of the islands, perfect spot for the most dangerous people, Kindlers. Kindlers have destroyed the wildlife, and Blaze is now an industrial island, choking the skies with it's black smoke that can be seen from Isith. Blaze is a once historical lands, but now is a cesspit for the loathing race led by Kalliso.
Claw Island
Little is known about this land. It's inhabitable, as it is a dark and mysterious place, as if alive in it's own way (This is a Combat Place island, with Combat Places every few steps).
Duron
Duron is home to King Ivan, and holds the title of most populated. Duron is strongly fortified, and holds a large army, as well as a thick, solid economy. Duron is a great place to live for the less fortunate that cannot live in Olegeta, and the less curious that don't wish to live under Queen Fade's rule.
Isith
Isith is a magical land, holding the only permit for magical protection in Ivy Nation Islands. Under the eye of the Oblesican Governors, Queen Fade is allowed to use magic as a protective force. Therefore Isith is the most defensive island, and possibly safer than Duron, with the combined force of swords and spells to vanquish any wrong doers. Queen Fade is a strict leader, and finds herself sick of the petty human thieves and cutpurses, therefore cracks down on injustice with a strong backhand.

Classes
Like how the Dollmaster has, I aim to make a preview of each class.

Rage has been a motivator for fighting since metal was first forged into a blade. The ruthless soldiers flurrying attack after attack from behind their light armor, speed unmatched by anyone with equal power. By backing this rage with magic so pure and untempered by mortal logic, Cinthetics are able to harness this unrelenting power through the wielding of cold hard weaponry. Berserkers tap into their Cinder Magic to unleash an inescapable series of attacks upon their foes, crippling and defeating them in several nasty hits.

The use of raw Cinder Magic is a path taken very rarely, as the magic can only be controlled by people with enough intelligence and wisdom. Unleashing fire from your very fingertips is an easy thing to accomplish, but a hard thing to control, therefore Sorcerors are masters at the summoning of elements to aid them in battle. The beauty of mixed elements is overwhelming, and if a Cinthetic is able to fully master it, they can be as strong as a fully-experienced Inaiden Matriach. The forces of Fire and Air are at a Sorceror’s disposal, and their power is feared among those who know little about them, or know too much. However, Water is a rare form of cintheticism that isn’t obtained by gene, that only Isis has picked up so far, and is reluctant to share with everyone.

First discovered by a Cinthetic girl who played with small straw-fleshed toys, Cinder Magic works well with the animation of humanoid dolls. Finding a dark artistic feel in the act of giving life to something so life-less, dollmasters enjoy the sadistic appearance of doll-mastery, and utilize their Cinder Magic as a terrorizing tool, crippling their enemies through horror and pain infliction. Dollmasters are extravagantly dressed, their dark and evil appearance shunning some of them from the more civilized towns. Dollmasters can give vibrancy to several dolls at a time, their effects depending on what their Master wishes.

Erena was the Goddess of Life, and her mental beauty has been channeled into Cinthetic Celebrants, who are constantly worshipping the gift of all life, through praise and song. Life is granted upon allies through the Celebrant’s magic, their powers giving them the aura of health and happiness. Celebrants are also able to burn the insides of an enemy, slowly killing them with their fieriness. When a friend falls in battle, Celebrants can embrace their gift of magic, restoring them back to life.

More Celebrant information

Celebrants have a basic heal for no mana (must be below 50% mana), and they receive a mana boost, and apply a safe death buff to the healed, meaning if they die in the next 20 seconds, they won't lose experience.
What’s Mine (Party-Helping skill)

Features
These aren't implemented, but are a goal.
- Toggle-able Roofs.
When entering a building, the roof is removed, but the indoor still being on the same map as the outside of the house.
-War events.
A global counter where players are able to take part in a two sided event. (Say, Assist the Mages or Assist the Soldiers). This is resemble two repeatable quests in which the most completed will further the story in that path.
-Combat places.
Venturing into combat-related expeditions requires you to begin fresh from level 1, and being able to level to 12, keeping monsters at a same level for all party members, and keeping you all at an equal usability. Each level will allow you to elect points into your pre-made skillset, unlocking the skills you've chosen to take on your adventure. Learning and assigning skills is done outside of combat places. Each skill has 4 levels max, and you have 1 permanent skills, and you may select 4 normal skills, and 1 special skillset skills, then you have your class Party-Helping skill, whether it is passive or active. Once leaving a combat place, your level is stripped back down to level 1.
Skill layout shown better:
Party - Permanent - Normal - Normal - Normal - Normal - Special
-Craft and Hostile Monsters.
Monsters outside of Combat places are called 'Craft Monsters', which are required for armors and the such. You'll have to complete quests, or venture far to reach these Craft Monsters, which will be around level 1. Also outside of combat all skills are available to be tested (once unlocked), and can be used against Craft Monsters (Craft Monsters are defensive, Hostile Monsters (inside Combat Places) are offensive by default).
-Upgrade-able Armor.

Armor can be upgraded into stronger alternatives. This armor in the preview, Oaffulo Cloth Armor, is the lowest ranked Cloth armor. But reaching Lvl 3, it will be better than the next ranked Cloth Armor, Lvl 1. Reaching Lvl 4 on armors doesn't upgrade stats, but adds a special effect to the armor, differing for each armor.
-Skill paths.
Each class has two skill paths, and you have a third special skillset. Players will earn skill points through-out the game, with quests, or completing dungeons, or other methods. Players can then learn different skills, and further on strengthen a skill, or move on to new skills in the skill path. Skills have 3 levels max, and you must learn all three to access all three in Combat Places.
-Party-helping skills
Each class has a skill only active when you are in a party. Outside of the party, the skill is dormant. The skills assist your team-mates, through activating it, or simply being a part of the team. Passive skills will use ways of making sure the player is active like if a Celebrant has healed the player who died within the last 30 seconds before their death, or simply if they are fighting monsters. (This will require the game to only allow one instance of the client open per computer).
-Hair colors

Hairs will have the ability to change between 8 different color alternatives through the use of Hair Dyes, in the form of items, or for a discounted price at your local town barber!

Appreciation
This was to be made into a SPRPG with a small group, but time wasn't really a friend for me at that time. However the stuff i've extracted was all my intellectual ideas, so none is stolen. However, i'd like to appreciate the two that worked on it, and am unsure if they want their names displayed for the sake of a 'failed project', as they both are in this community. Will put proper appreciation if desired.

New Support Signatures have been added!
Support

Supporters (Simply testers) from Development, Alpha and Closed Beta will receive the following skins in the order of the image (Development -> Phoenix, Alpha -> Dragon, Closed Beta -> Imp). The character this is used on will not be allowed to wear headgear, unless people don't really care about clipping. We'll figure it out.
Throw one of these into your signature slot to support Cinder! By spreading the word, you get us more pumped to develop Cinder!

Staff
PM me, or post if you wish to fill one of these positions. Previous work is appreciated, and please don't expect to get an immediate answer.
Currently, it is only me working on this, so the structure of team positions is at a point of what I think is needed. If there isn't a job on here you think you could assist me with, hit me up via PM.
Red = Closed position
[i]Blue = Position has no immediate work needed, but can be filled.
