Hello, if anyone has played Ao Oni then you'll understand what kind of events or codes I am after.
I need to know how I can make an event chase you throughout different rooms, as simple as possible.
I don't really know how else I can explain that but If anyone has any knowledge that would be most helpful.

On my second request, when I have an event following you it occasionally walks in the wrong direction and it really has a hard time moving around obstacles, is there a way to fix this so that the event ACTUALLY follows you properly-rather than walking elsewhere and getting stuck?

I believe there is a script to make this possible where the event follows you precisely instead of all lame like that. Better ask in the script request section.
If you are looking for a party member to be following you and not an event, you can use the Caterpillar or Train Actor scripts.

Thanks again, I'll request for a code in the other forum. As for the catapillar script, I've already obtained that smile.gif

There's a third way:
set the event movement to Custom and then simply put "Move Toward Player" command on the move list.
It should be far smoother than follow and doesn't require a script.
The point is that follow makes the character move randomly after a few steps, then recover its target.
I just wonder why they did it this way...

I hope this can help,

EDIT: Okay I haven't read your next post in that other forum.
Sorry, I hadn't got you just did it yourself... anyway, I haven't experienced a character moving in the wrong direction with that system...
Yes, they were stuck behind objects, and this could be annoying.
I apologise for this useless adivce.
