Hey all,
I was hired through a rmxp developer as his sound guy, and he told me to write some songs for the game, so I thought I could get some advice on my compositions here. I will constantly be adding on to this post.

The first song that I have is a medieval ballad composed when the Protagonists has to abandon his past life, and he is wandering through a forest.
Peasant Woods

My samples that I am using are Vienna Symphonic Library Woodwinds, and the rest is ProjectSam Symphobia.

Wow, Peasant Woods is a really neat composition - very calm and peaceful. ^^
It has a great "leaving things behind" tone to it.

Is this its final length? Sounds like it should be longer, but not if it's for a cut-scene.
Nice work either way. happy.gif

It's not finished yet, I plan to add more, but I will make it alot longer. I am composing it like a Musical. A musical starts off with a Prologue, introducing the musical. So, I have to make the song longer to fit the intro at the beginning. Thanks for the posiive feedback smile.gif

Haha. When I started listening to Peasant Woods, I instantly thought: "Excellent, but how will it loop?"
But to my surprise you had already answered that in a post further down. I like what you're doing with it.
It's very well written and gives off a very peaceful vibe.

Keep it up! I want to hear more! biggrin.gif
