Is it possible to make TP like MP and have it usable/seen outside of battle, because the system I have for it is called "AP" for Alchemy Points, which is used in battle to instantly sythesize an item and then use it. But I want to have it outside of battle so you can equip better alchemy stones to have a higher max "AP" and not just a random amount in every battle, it carries on to every battle.

I don't believe it's possible by default, but you could request to see if it can be done with a script.

Well to stop the random thing refer to this post
http://forums.rpgmakerweb.com/index.php?/t...tart-of-battle/
Then go to your database and go to either actors or classes and go to traits. Then go to the other tab and choose special flag it will then give you a few options choose TP Carried Over.
This will stop the random thing as for showing it outside of I am afraid I don't know the answer to that one sorry.

NOTE:Also if you want I can tell you a script that does the same thing the post link does plus more. It can change the max TP and give you a completely customizable way to set a FFX type gain system. This is where you decided paths of how to gain TP then give the player a option in the menu under the skills/special option to choose those paths. You can make the paths, decide which ones a character starts out with, and make a event where they gain new paths along the story.

Here it is http://yanflychannel.wordpress.com/rmvxa/g...pts/tp-manager/

Also you should go to the side of the web page where it says RGSS3 – Yanfly Engine Ace. This site holds many awesome scripts for VX and ACE.
NOTE: When you download it it will be a RB file so to get to the script just use Microsoft Word. In case you didn't know how to open a RB file.
I just found out about all of this yesterday myself.

EDIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!: Never fear all of your problems are solved I found a script to show TP outside of battle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Here is the link.
http://yanflychannel.wordpress.com/rmvxa/m...ce-menu-engine/
NOTE: This is also a RB file so you need to open with word.Although it wont look like it does in the picture. It will show the full HP then the MP and TP will be staked next to each other at least that is how it looks for me.You also need a skill or skills that use Mp and TP for the TP gauge to show.

EX: If you have skill with no TP the MP gauge will be present but if you have a TP skill and no MP skill the TP gauge will be present but not the MP.
Then if you have both it shows both. but if you have neither then it show it like as if the script isn't present.

Ah sweet thanks! I'm already using many of Yanfly's scripts and I can't believe I didn't notice those ones o_O
I don't have Microsoft Office but Notepad++ worked well for me XD

I just found out about these scripts yesterday and man do they work so well and they awesome not to mention they are so compatible with other scripts. Well glad I was able to help. I am already using like 20 of the scripts in my project. I wonder if I can get Yanfly to post the scripts on this site. smile.gif
