...

Yeah, wow, these are really great. X ) Seriously! Thanks so much for sharing them.
You did a fantastic job with the edits.

The only thing I'm gonna say though is that some of the tiles still look Japanese... or are Japanese i guess. It's too bad because I think some more North-American/European tiles would be nice. Like some architecture especially.

But again, thanks so much. i know it's a lot of work, ur just doing this out of ur free time, and u had no obligation to do this. So thanks again and great stuffz. \(' D ')/

This saves me a whole lot of work that I was planning to do. Though it's for XP It seem, I can convert to VX/Ace and upload it one day if no one minds. Thanks a lot Supercow. This is very useful.

i will look into some roof/tile for europe/ edit original xp next or edit one myself from real europe archinecture next time (although i will change the tileset again to make it more tidy)

Two things.

First, WOW. That's amazing.

And Second, You have shamed me. Been working on a City tileset of my own and I take one look at that and wonder if I should of even bothered. Oh, I'm going to keep working on my own but I was thinking mine was good until this. I'm going to totally rethink my style to beat that.
Jonnie19
There is now a dedicated area under the Production Forum for this type of resource it's known as the Map Sample As it follows the template very well I'll move it straight over for you, however for others please ensure you use the Submission Forum to post these topics smile.gif
Lato
Wow this is kickass! Tileset are such a pain to do but you have done so much, this is really impressive happy.gif What are you working on now?

i would love to see your map example of your city tileset laugh.gif , keep at it happy.gif as long as you love doing it thats all that matters.
i am still working on making better tileset , we could teach each other happy.gif
you dont really need to imitate or beat my style , just think of your own preference what is more suited to the place>? and keep balance of colour/contrast , and dont put the same thing over and over again.
sorry for my rambling laugh.gif

@Jonnie19 : thank you happy.gif , im really sorry for the trouble, im kindda suck at reading forum rules yes.gif

@Lato : thx for the compliment happy.gif , im glad people liked it
im making more tileset laugh.gif , well basically im gonna make a tidy and organize tileset because my previous one was such a mess, and im gonna add more things so it would make more like a city laugh.gif (because the previous one was made from japanese so it had too much style of japanese house)
Renasci
Thank you very much for this. It will help me and my friend!
Severity
It certainly will help people who are not familiar with this tileset.
Kaleb Daub
So is it ok that as well try to to convert these tilesets to vx/Ace? Nice work by the way they are incredible.
supercow
@Renasci : great thumbsup.gif , expect to see the update probably in a few months because im busy right now pinch.gif

@Severity: i hope so too yes.gif , my update would include more things appropriate for modern place, right now its really lacking

@Kaleb Daub : why not? i dont see the problem laugh.gif
give credit to me if your so kind laugh.gif
Yukihira
thats damn great! if u plan another Modern MapPack that would be realy cool!
thx a lot!
Dark Kyu
Finally, I've been looking everywhere for something like this!
And I really like the style too smile.gif

I'm definitely gonna use this for my game project. Don't worry, I'll credit you.
Iperks
looks awesome I love it wink.gif
amerk
As everybody said, this looks pretty good, and something lacking with RM. I don't use RMXP as much as I do VX and VXA, so it won't benefit me, but I'm sure it will plenty of others.

Edit: I edited the topic title to include XP. It should be obvious to people looking at the map, but this way people know beforehand.
Ales
Thank you very much for sharing it. happy.gif
supercow
@Ales :thank you very much for sharing yours (tileset) happy.gif
still wonder which part of the tileset that you post that you make.

expect the update of this to be delayed , i got flood laugh.gif

Totally not feeling it here. Tell me you're making a game similar to Earthbound and I'll think about revising my mood.

When I say "I'm not feeling it," I mean I'm not excited about this chip set; however, if you were planning on making particular game, I might become excited. ;^)

What is really the point of this post. This Map Pack is a resource and a system resource designed for game developers who want to use it to make games that require modern tile-sets, thus the title of the thread "Modern Map". They'll apply to those kind of games in development. So that statement is actually kind of pointless. Almost as if you are being critical for literally no reason what so ever.

Anyways I'm currently using this Map Pack Myself for my own game and it is amazing.
COMBAT SPECIALISTS

This is what I used off the bridge Tileset with some of my own tweaks. Credits are going to Supercow for the mapping as well as the resources provided. happy.gif

Again I just want to express my gratitude and say thanks a bunch for distributing such a great resource!
