Topic Tagging Guide

Below are a list of Tags that are to be used whenever creating new Topics. This is to ensure that users are able to effectively search for their topic, just by placing the topic tag based on what they are searching for.

[BEGINNERS] Tutorials created and aimed at beginners, used with other Tags.

[GENERAL] General Game Development: Level Design, Genre Discussions etc

[SCRIPTING] Used in Scripting Tutorials forum

[RM2K3] Used in RM2K/3 tutorial forum only

[EVENTING] Used for event related Tutorials, and can be used in all Tutorial sections

[MUSIC]: Used in the Music Tutorials Forums

[WRITING]: Used in the Writing Tutorials Forum

[GRAPHICS]: Used for Title Screen, Logo Design and other Graphics Program (excluding Graphics Gale) tutorials located in the Art and Spriting Tutorials Forum

[SPRITING] Used for frankenspriting, Palette Creation, Spriting,Tileset Creation tutorials and Graphics Gale tutorials located in the Art and Spriting Tutorials Forum

[MAPPING] Mapping Tutorials, including Parallax Mapping.

[GM]: Game Maker Tutorials.

[SERIES]: Tutorials that are part of a series. or tutorials that are split into sections.

[EXCLUSIVE] Threads that are create by Tutorial Staff and are for RRR only.

[STAR READ] Tutorials that have been chosen by the Tutorial Staff and Mods to be of highest quality and deserve recognition

Necroposting Topics older than 3 months can only be revived if you are the topic creator.

Topic Tagging: All topics should be tagged using the Tagging Guide.

Offsite Tutorials: All tutorials must be written/featured on this site. No offsite tutorial links are accepted

Screenshots: All screenshots should be placed inside spoilers to avoid stretching of the forum.

Tutorial Request Do not create a new topic for requests,use the Tutorial Request topic.
