No order, but with reasons
#1 Primer ($6000 budget independent film with an awesome time travel story line.)
#2 Gran Torino (Brilliant dialogue, well though out end.)
#3 Fight Club (Edward Norton and Brad Pitt in an amazingling written film)
#4 Usual Suspects (have you seen this?!?!)
#5 Donnie Darko (The film that got me into films. +Time Travel. I love time travel.)

Kronk's New Groove
Funny, but emperor's new groove is better.
What? Serious film fanatic can't enjoy an animated funny?

Edit: Metropolis (the Japanese animation) gets a special mention. The film itself is brilliant, but it's the end that has an incredible re-playability. Me, my best friend, and my brother, once spent several hours watching the end over and over again. AMAZING film, but (for a few flaws early in the film) doesn't make my list.
