Okay, so I have an event that removes two party members and adds one. Strangely, I had an old party member in the database position of the one I'm adding, and the first time I ran the event, it put the old character in my party, who is long deleted. I tried copying the character I'm adding to a new database slot, and that made the event add a blank party member with no face and the first character's class to my party. Then I tried copying the character's CLASS to a new slot, and doing that didn't even add anyone to my party.
I'm really confused about this... anyone know what's wrong?

Did you alter the database in any way during a test play? I know sometimes when you change or add things to the database, you have start a completely new game versus picking up from a saved version, since the saved version will have the old database.
