I wanted to go, but alas, I can't sad.gif

I wish I had the time to attend events like PAX, but then again I've only ever thought about going and I've never gone to such events (I would feel very awkward because I've only heard that lots of guys go to those places - like Comic-cons - and I'm not really sure I should be the only girl around, lol -- maybe I'm just paranoid... no... I know I'm, paranoid...). ><

You would be pleasantly surprised at the amount of girls that are there. True, the vast majority of the visitors are guys. But it's at least 10% girls, and that's quite a lot of girls considering how many people attend.

As for the guys, over 50% of them will be too absorbed in their activities to notice girls, 39% of them will be too shy to talk to you (remember, they're more scared of you then you are of them tongue.gif), 1% might hit on you, and 10% will be with their girlfriends.

I wish I could!
Video Games Awesome is there!
I love those crazy kids.

If I went I'd probably be in the 1% of guys. I ain't shy of nothin'.

90% of people there are guys...
10% of 90% are with their girlfriends...
therefore 9% of guys are with their girlfriends.
therefore 9% of girls are with their boyfriends.

therefore 1% of girls there are single.

Whether intentional or not, it's a perfect match thumbsup.gif

I doubt I'll be going to PAX (or any convention... ever) mostly due to them pretty much all being in America, but also because I'm not really a big enough fan of anything to go. A bit of a fan of several things, but not big enough to go out of my way sweat.gif And the things I do have a passion for don't always have the best fan bases... Which means I can wander around on my own, or make friends with some people I will, probably, not connect with on any real level besides a single common interest.

I don't really know, are conventions actually like that? Do you have to be a raving mad fan to enjoy it? mellow.gif
LostSamurai
Hehehe no that percentage joke was not intentional. That's very good, I never thought of that smile.gif

You don't have to be a raving mad fan to enjoy it, because the conventions have a large selection of activities with a wide range of topics. There are plenty of people that are there just to have a good time, and there's something there for everyone.
