This might be a little soon to have this topic in here, but I thought that we might as well have it here if anyone just wants to submit something to be used in the game. Since pretty much nothing as of this post has been set in stone, feel free to post any custom resources (any style for now). If needed, they can be changed/revamped/style-changed later on.
Keep in mind that quality control is still a thing here, even at this early stage. If a resource that you're posting is a WIP, please state so in your post. Also state if you wish to have others improve it or not. Being in this thread doesn't guarantee that your resource will make it in, but it will greatly improve its chances.
To get the ball rolling, here's a short midi that could be the base of a location's (maybe a dungeon) BGM : archives.mid (available for improvement)
Kayden's Dropbox
What is dropbox? "Dropbox is a free service that lets you bring your photos, docs, and videos anywhere and share them easily." So if you drop a picture in the folder, others will receive it when they have the application is running. And the best part, it's completely free!
Simply go to dropbox's site and download the program for your Windows, Macintosh, or Linux! After, PM me your E-mail used and I'll get you set up with the team.
3 layers of hair, eyes/eye stuff, special ears, tops, bottoms, skin color, arm and wrist gear, even shoes. I made this in about fifteen minutes. (Then it took another 30 min, because imageshack decided to be cheap and restrict linking of images, so you couldn't show things)
There's, unfortunately, a learning curb. You can't just copy/paste or even save it (it blanks it out). You have to actually Print Screen the entire page, then crop it down.

I like how the site says that it's in Japanese, like we didn't realize that.

We have a dropbox already. This should perhaps be used exclusively for feedback or WIPs.

I can't use dropbox at all. Something about my proxy.
I made this in my free time, basically it's only half done though, because you have to add transparency back in (except some of these where I did it myself), but this should be more or less okay for most VX engines, and with some resizing might be alright for the 2k3 or other engines.
This might come in useful for Layer 1, if we have to solve group puzzles and stuff.

I'm thinking that we should PM Tsukihime so that he/she knows that we're considering using that script. It just seems like a common courtesy for a project like this.

Or all layers. Remember to have Char X and Char Y for each party member to do stuff like (and to save party member location) like pressure plate switches. You'll want the characters to display as same level events when not in the party so they block off movement and two ppl can't occupy they same spot.

I've got a lot of unfinished MIDIs and such that could possibly be used if anyone likes them. The only problem though is I use Anvil Studio and for some reason, the volume of the files are lower than any other MIDI, even when I make all the instruments max volume.

Try changing the velocity of the instruments. The volume is a slightly different thing than the velocity that is usually at max by default. Or you could send them to me and I could mess with the velocities of the notes using a different midi editing program (though any new notes added via Anvil studio will probably be quiet).

Is it the balance of each instrument, or the overall volume of the track? Because if it's the latter, all you need to do is up the gain by using a compressor or something like that to give at that higher volume.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't it that the above method can only be used if the midi is converted into a sound file of some sort? hopefully this pic that I whipped up will help to try and explain the difference between volume and velocity controller events in a midi file:

Hope this is the right place but I was wanting to submit a little in co-op with logo to this project you can do what ever you want with it I probably will not improve on it. Thought it would be nice the way I have it set up so edit it at will thank you. Even if it doesn't make it thought it was a decent idea. Click to view attachment

Thanks I thought it would be kind of cool putting it in a menu format.

Do we have a display account for this game? I could make one.

Coat template.
If you can mess with graphics (it's fairly easy to do in Paint) you can give anyone a labcoat. Since alot of people are programmers/scientists, that's sorta the look they're going for (even though by in large real programmers don't actually dress like that).
