Hello everyone. I am looking to see if anyone can make a script ( VX ACE) for me that will simply do as follows.

Call Script----->Items/armor/weapons in script call will have their price set to a random cost between various number ranges (hopefully customize-able on a per call basis.) And will not change price again until script is called again or unless a shop override is in place.

The general idea is possibly to have a system in which you may find or buy items at low prices and hopefully sell them at higher prices of they go up later on. Or to have to deal with prices on something you need right now being suddenly a lot more expensive than they were at an earlier time. Ultimately I want fluctuating prices that is fully automated. There was a script listed for the original VX that randomized prices and such but apparently the code was so long it had to be uploaded to megaupload...which is no longer in existence. Any help anyone can give me would be great.

I really really appreciate the help of all of you! Hope to hear from you soon!

This would be cool, but it would end up being abused for infinite money.
Now, If you were to combine something like this with a day/night/time/date system, it would be perfect as you could limit the price fluctuations by minute, hour or even day.
With an Event-based time system compatible random fluctuation script. That would be awesome. (And no, the random price flux is the script - my date system is the event in this sentence, come to think of it, why am i still typing.....)

ANYway, I too would like this... But It really is too bad that ACE doesn't allow you to set the price of an item to a variable. That would have been nice.
