Hello. I am Iori_yagami, and I'm new here. I stumbled upon this site when I was looking for a M.U.G.E.N download link.
I checked out the forums after playing around with M.U.G.E.N a bit and this place seemed to have a nice and welcoming community,
so I decided to introduce myself!

I am a gaming enthusiast and I'm also interested in anime and spriting.

I would love to make a fighting game, it's my favorite type of game genre. I'd also like to make an RPG, but sadly, I'm not a good storyteller.

By the way, what do you guys think about this:

I like that sprite. It holds a nice retro feel. The only thing that stood out to me was the skin colour, but if you are going for a retro look, then that's fine. It seems like you have the potential to be an amazing spriter!

Welcome to RRR! Awwwr don't feel bad about not being a good storyteller, we all have strengths and weaknesses and it looks like your strengths might lie in spriting!

The one I made took me about 2H-5H (kind of lost track of time) from the ground up.

Since you're a spriter you would fit in great around our Resource and Tutorials section. There you can find helpful tutorials and write your own!

Even better you can post your sprite there and receive either feedback and critique or allow other people interested in sprite to use it. That's always a good thing.

The great thing about Fighting Games and RPGs are that the Battlers are useful for both genres. In side-view battle systems we can use a lot of the same animations as fighter games.

Thanks for all the nice and funny(Albino Parakeet) introductions. I've been gone for what seems to be a month(Wow...) for the following reasons:

A fortnight long vacation at my brother's house, was too busy having vacation fun while I was there.
A week without internet... A WEEK!!!
A temporary addiction to Blazblue(still play it alot though).
A mountain of homework.
